The You Even Freak Out Jesus Award
Hubby and I both bawl all day long!!!
Hubby says that while he is working (he owns his own paint contracting company), and starts to think about Jesus and His return and the tears start to flow. Or while He is saying the Lord's Prayer, he breaks out in tears. He says he sobs when thinking about Jesus' return and seeing Him face to face. He says also when he remembers certain passages, like John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
I too have been breaking down in tears and literally sobbing. My heart is overwhelmed and it is overflowing with the love that Jesus has for me. I can barely listen to a song that praises Jesus without bawling. Reading the Bible yesterday had me in tears. Reading some of the threads on this board make me break down.
But I think it is because the Holy Spirit is quickening our hearts. He is talking to us, now - more than ever and is calling us home. He is warning us and preparing us. Jesus IS coming. I think the entire Bride has heard His voice. He is giving us the urgency of the imminent return of Jesus for His Bride, and how important it is that we witness to as many as we can.
These tears are tears of joy IMHO. We long to be with our Father, and our Father has given us this yearning. I can only imagine that God is looking around the place that Jesus is/has prepared for us and is making sure everything is perfect. God is ready to tell His Son to, "Go get your Bride"!!!!
It won't be long now. Shout it from the rooftops!! Jesus is coming soon. He is Lord and Master and is getting ready to show Himself like never before!!!
Come Lord Jesus!!!

Yeah, I had that crying at everything once. May I suggest a professional trained in the art of prescription SSRIs?
They royally fucked me over, but I didn't cry all the time either. It was a short term trade off - I hear many people live quite happily on them long term too.

this is like looking in the face of a little child who was told their getting a puppy for their birthday, but the puppy got hit by a car and now they look at you expectantly, their face full of bright joy, and all you can do is bite your lip and tell them it's coming later than expected, maybe next week, sorry.

What confuses me is why people who want to be with god this much don't do something about it (assuming their particular denomination doesn't have a "that's a bad evil sin!" mentality about doing such things).

The beginning of this is just sad, then it just gets down right crazy.

"These tears are tears of joy IMHO."
I don't know whether to pity or envy people this deluded.

Isn't one's fantasy life supposed to be pleasant?

Wow. I feel sad for you. But you sure did give me a good laugh!

Reading this and looking back, realizing it wasn't all that long ago that I felt much like these people do, I can't express in words how OVERJOYED I am to be free of it.
And finally, I've come out from lurking and posted here. Hi there!

I got the same feeling when the Chiefs traded for Matt Cassel.

Union delegates should contact their members telling them not to work for this lunatic. Can you imagine this freakazoid holding the ladder while you’re painting the side of a building? "Jeebus is coming WAAAH..." SPLAT, "Oh, shi-, sorry Fred!"

Reading some of the threads on this board make me break down.
That happens to me too. Only in a different way.

Shout it from the rooftops!
Yes, because that will make target practice so much easier.

How in the world do these people actually function in the real world.
Pay bills? No fuck it. The rapture. Kids freeze ,starve. No fuck it. I'm outta here fuck you.

RR - so what's new?
They spend their lives in a mutual masturbatory fantasy that the end is nigh and creaming at the idea!
I can foresee koolaid sales rising....

Religion: Helps cover up the fact that you have mental problems.

If I was in government I'd be a bit concerned about these fucktards.

This is one of the results of being brainwashed.
These tears are tears of joy IMHO.

I can only begin to imagine the kinds of psychosis that will eventually arise in the minds of people like this. At what point can we legitimately say that these people are suffering from a serious mental condition that requires treatment for the good of them and those around them?
I'm sure we all agree that this couple have gone far over the line here, but why is it that they are not taken care of by mental health professionals? Because it is for some reason considered acceptable for people to suffer extreme emotional distress if it is religious in nature.
This is a vivid example of two people's lives being completely incapacitated by a religious delusion, most likely brought on by the promise of social acceptance in their local community if they allow their minds to foster that delusion. Instead of being treated, as they should be, they are congratulated for it by their immediate peers.
It's just so sad.

This is more than a little fucked up.
A little amusing at first, until you realise that this mentality is real. Then the pity sets in.

I went through a period where I cried at the drop of a hat. Turned out I was suffering from post-traumatic-stress-disorder. A course of Paxil and time to heal took care of it.

I wonder how many other RR posters are suffering from clinical depression.
