Hmm, from her other posts this woman seems like the real deal, definitely fundie. I don't believe she was ever a liberal though.
Its only a good quote because I'm convinced she's Lying for Jesus. But is it enough to approve it? Not sure. Am I over-thinking it? Most likely.

Trading one brainwashed ideology for another brainwashed ideology doesn't make you enlightened.

"liberalism results from the absence of biblical truth in one's life."
And you say you were once a Liberal? Lying for Jebus. Contrary to Fundie belief, Liberal Christians DO exist, ya know.

One person's Biblical Truth is another person's brainwashing.
Was your conversion coincidental with a brain injury?

By "liberal," BoobT means she once forgot to hate all life for almost five minutes.

So to bluntly answer the OP question: liberalism results from the absence of biblical truth in one's life
Actually, the same thing can be said about conservatism. Although, from my years and years as a conservative xtian, I'd have to say that the liberals are closer to godliness than the conservatives are.

It's got to be either a troll or a liar for Jesus. They were not a liberal with that kind of attitude. They were politically apathetic at best. Or a poe. As I said.

So, in other words, you traded in your common sense for a book of bullshit. That doesn't sound like a good deal, unless of course you're a moron. Gee, fancy that, eh?

This guy's going to have an anyeurism when he finds out that Thomas Jefferson described himself as "liberal".
(Of course, the word doesn't mean today what it meant in the 1700s, but Fundies don't seem to be aware that the meaning of a word can change with time, as evidenced by their bizarre interpretation of some KJV passages.)

Actually, if you've actually read Jesus's comments on social issues, like caring for the poor and the sick, and the death penalty, for example, exactly the opposite is true. You people pretty much oppose everything he stood for.
