How...would they "all succumb to horrible deaths"? By the falling of the U.S.? And by falling of the U.S., does she mean "be rounded up and sent into death camps for being a Christian," as some of these people seem to think? Because, even though we're in an ecomonic recession, we still have a functioning transportation system, a regular supply of food, etc. So I'm not sure how she thinks they're all going to die.

In the more likely event that you eventually die and that's it - no afterlife, then you won't have wasted the one you have.
I am however at a loss to figure how you will have any real fun or meaningful existence within the boundaries of your chosen religion. The policy of rapturists was that no matter how bad the world got, it would be okay, because *they* wouldn't have to suffer the consequences. Only the unbelievers would have to do that.

BTW, when this person says "succumb to horrible deaths", he or she may be referring to the wrathful judgement that is scheduled to befall America. You know, nuclear destruction or whatever.
