Oh, please. Never produced a great chef? The vast majority of men, in all cultures, can name at least one dish that their mother made better than anyone else.
And all he can produce is hatred and ignorance, too.

Well, I will admit that Rachael Ray leaves something to be desired for. But a female Bach or Michaelangelo? It isnt good form to copy another artists style if you want to be remembered for a long time. Lets also remember the sexist times that these artists lived in.
Let us also not forget that Athena was one of the most beloved classical goddesses of her time, being a goddess of war AND art (among other cephalic spheres of influence).
I will let the rest of the group comment on good historical names and examples, just wanted to point that little gem out.

I thought Ares was the God of War?
Of course I also thought he lost the title when Kratos killed him with a giant sword, so what do I know?

Barbara Walters called this guy on his bullshit back in the 70s. As I recall, he was reduced to stammering.

Grandma Moses. Beverly Sills (performer) the Wilson sisters (Heart, composers and performers). Julia Child.
That took all of 3 seconds. I could fill a page in 3 minutes without even starting on the accomplishments of women in virtually every field of human endeavor outside art, music, and food.

I hate to break this to you, but Mother Theresa was an evil witch who tortured people to get closer to God.
Not the best example of great women, but of course there are many.

You've never produced a Michelangelo or a Bach.
For most of human history, women have never been allowed to; and that prohibition is an implicit recognition of their capacity to do so.

The greeks had two gods of war. Athena was the goddess of wisdom in battle, arts, and wisdom in general.
Ares was the god of fury in combat (a berserker, in fact, if not by name) and kind of a joke amongst the greeks. In fact, if you have the courage ot read the Illyad, you will see that Ares is thwarted at every turn by any god that has a little more brains than he has.
Of course, the Romans being stupid, they glorified Mars (Ares) and totally forgot Minerva, their version of Athena, making her a minor goddess.

Oh, and for a chef? How 'bout Paula Deen? Though by the way, how absurdly random is it that this guy's using chefdom as a mark of gender superiority?
