[Regarding President Obama's manner of speaking]
The only people I've ever heard talk like that are future brutal dictators, like Lenin, Hitler, Mao, etc. This is not a good sign.

If this post is an indication of the sort of people that would prefer a president like Bush, then America has had a very lucky escape. And if EndIsNear is typical of the sort of people on Rapture Ready, then it only confirms that we were right not to believe anything they write, say or do.
You're either a very stupid liar EndIsNear or completely deluded. Honestly, talk about drooling simpletons with nasty intentions. And you lot say there is a God. Oh yeah, of course we believe you. You say there is going to be a whooshfest. Oh yeah, we believe that too. What a bunch of dorks.
They are totally untrustworthy, probably as a consequence of their mental instability. A sad case of a hobby ruling ones life.
Edit: And if you're just poeing about, then thanks for giving me the opportunity to make a comment.
I know that he pulled a Godwin for sure...perhaps there should be a name for when people start talking about Lenin and Mao and Stalin (especially when relating to atheists) as we see that almost as much as the Nazi crap.
Oh, and EndIsNear, to you I recommend a post-birth abortion. Just my two cents...
So, EndIsNear was around when Lenin, Hitler and Mao lived... plus he speaks Russian, German and Chinese in order to understand the manner of speech.
Mutual respect and wanting to hear ideas from other people who don't disagree with him is like what Hitler said?!
Yeah, I'm going to need a citation.
That's typical to say for people who confuse reality and phantasy.
Objective reality exists. Science is the most reliable way that we have to "see" this objective reality.
The human brain, in comparison, is extremely flawed in its perception of the objective reality. However strongly people try, they cannot get rid of their tendency to interpret their perception.
Religious people have turned their shame, the non-objective perception of the world, into an asset.
Well, it is an asset:
The sheer masses of schizophrenics that we live amongst make this wrong a right. Like in a stampede where you better walk over people than to help them up. Like in Hitler Germany where you better join the evil than work against it.
That makes science and religion natural enemies:
Science is the collective effort to circumvent the imperfection of the human perception apparatus.
Religion is the collective effort to intensify ill beliefs and to give it justification through society.
Science gave us the computer. Religion uses it to preach against science.
Future dictators? Those guys are coming back?
@ God
Science gave us the computer. Religion uses it to preach against science.
Best quote I've seen from you, God, if that's your real name.
Dictator does not necessary equal bad, it's just that many who want to be dictators are not charitably intentioned. Also Obama sounds nothing like Hitler, seriously. Or Mao and it would be unlikely he would speak anything like Lenin an Eastern European from 100 years ago.
You spend a lot of time listening to Hitler, Mao and Lenin do you? sounds a bit suspect to me...
And I'm definitely impressed at you being so fluent in German, Russian and Chinese that you can listen to speeches in those languages.
Since the art of rhetoric and public speaking was to a large extent codified in Ancient Grece and Rome and the 'rules' are still used today then you could argue that he also sounds like Socrates ,Plato Cicero,Caesar,Mark Anthony,Marcus Aurelius etc, etc, etc,but since the ArseIsNear posts on RR he.she is probabbly as ignaorant as that fact as he/she is of the people I mentioned.
@Pule Thamex: "whooshfest," I like that. Can I use it?
EndIsNear, if you think you know what Lenin, Hitler and Mao sounded like before they became dictators, I suggest you cut back on the recreational pharmaceuticals.
You, personally, heard them all speak?
You are one muthafugin liar.
Confused?
