im just wondering what u evolutionist think on the 3rd(or the 2nd, not sure) law of thermodynamics also called entropy, which is the tendancy for things to get worse instead of better... i see deasieses, plagues, famine. it seems like aids, cancer, diabedies, dounsyndrom and all these other things came out not too long ago. there r more mentally fucked up ppl in the world today than there was 200 years ago. even sane ppl r suffering with things like ADHD and stuff. this dont look like evolution to me.

Aids may be fairly recent. As far as I'm aware, all the others ( oh, and it's diseases, diabetes and Down's syndrome, moron) have been around for millenia. The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics refers essentially to gaseous environments and specifically to closed systems. The Earth is not a closed system and has a pretty good source of outside energy (that big yellow ball in the sky, remember?)

Please do not presume to pontificate upon subjects of which you have no knowledge. And for the love of Mike,,, get an education in English.

Stop right there! Step slowly away from the keyboard! You are under arrest for attempted murder of the English language, and first degree stupidity.

Well, for one thing, I think Soul Flayer is a really cool name.

Too cool. You can't have it. Give it to me.

Thank you.

Anyway, I also think the Baby Sagan cries when people misuse the laws of physics.

Think of the Baby Sagan, would you?

They probably existed for quite a while (except HIV that thing was a recent mutation).

We just didn't study them in-depth before modern medicine came into being.

Please stop torturing the English language!

There are more mentally fucked up people in the world today than there were in the past? I guess the Spanish Inquisition, the witch hunts, the slavery, the gladiator "games", the serfdom, etc, were fine and dandy things, all of them, run by sane, emphatic people?

Evolution happens over millenniums, not much has happened since the 18th century, evolution-wise.

If you want to point to a specific scientific law, shouldn't you first look up said law and read up on it, to be sure that it actually supports what you are saying? At least to make sure that you are using the right name for the law in question...
