Uh, lots of you have been praying for Obama to die, and some of you have been planning to "help."
I didn't pray for Bush's death because I don't think there's anyone up there listening. The closest I came was wishing heartily that he'd just shut up.

I don't recall hearing anyone say there were actually praying for Bush to die. And, in general, people were much more about yelling out that he should be impeached as opposed to killed. You people, on the other hand, are quite fanatical about it and the worst part is that you're doing it before giving him a chance to succeed or fail. The intense hatred towards Bush was based entirely on his actions after the fact. But, then again, he was white.

I seem to remember a certain fundy from Fukwits on the Family going on the radio and asking their drones to pray for torential rain to ruin Obama's acceptance speech. As I recall it couldn't have been a more lovely summer evening in Denver that day. Guess God really wanted Obama's speech to go over well.

It was his politics and religion and putting them together to run this country that pissed me off. But it's over now and hopefully we can move forward.

Actually, the only time I prayed for Bush is when he had international television time..I prayed that he had a decent speech writer and that he would follow it word for word...my prayers never helped.
