More to the point, how do you know that gravity is not just an illusion? Maybe it's actually millions of tiny angels pressing down on things that keep us from flying off the planet and whirling into space. 9_9

Seriously, dude, seek medical help. NOW.

How do you know it wasn't god trying to level a church in Poughkeepsie and missed? He has that kind of aim, it seems.

Considering that Fundamentalist Protestants are the only folks I personally know who regularly report being attacked by supernatural forces, I'd say it's a long-shot.

So there really are those who still believe this Medieval nonsense- that lightning isn't natural, it must be caused by an angry god.
About 10% of those who are struck by lightning are killed. Many of the survivors are left with personality changes, as it can affect the frontal lobe. About 70 people are killed by lighning every year in the United States.

Well, it was obviously because I cast Protection From Lightning beforehand. Don't you guys also think ahead when you know you're being threatened?

Damn, after all these years I've finally succumbed to the D&D trope to respond to the fundies' belief in magic!
