You see, a person can spend years of their life wondering what religion is the correct one. Once, they have decided on a 'correct' religion or at least one which they like the sound of; the next step is to obviously disprove/disparage/destroy ALL thinking which might, even have the possibility, of contradicting you.
Decide on a path, to the exclusion of all else.

This would be stupid and I genuinly pity anyone who thinks like this. If you're world view is sound, then it can take on all comers; it can survive the strongest criticism or the most informed argument. Simply believing in God and closing your mind doesn't make you special, it makes you worthless to those around you, i.e. society.
Clearly you haven't a clue what Atheism actually is:

1.The doctrine or belief that there is no God.
2.Disbelief in the existence of a supreme being or beings.
Atheism isn't based on anything other than the absence or disbelief in God or Gods. It has no dependencies what so ever.
When you die, you die, dumbass. Want to know what death is like? go to sleep tonight and hope you don't dream. What's so bad about that? Why waste your life trying to convince others that there is a supernatural deity which will punish you with eternal torment if you don't worship him NOW?
Battle your own demons, the rest of us will sleep confortably tonight knowing we are making a better use of our lives than you are.
PS. Before anyone points out the irony of that last statement, know that I am wasting my company's time in posting this and not my own.
