Why do pro-choice folks call the other side, "anti-choice"?
We're not anti-choice. We are pro-life. Now if we use your reasoning, doesn't that make you, pro-death?

Mister Spak

No, it makes you anti choice.

Why aren't Christians truely pro-life? They only support life until it actually enters this world, then it's shit on them. Christians are also pro-capital punishment/death penalty, pro-war, pro-death to all those who disagree with them. Your hypocrisy is plain to all. I hope you burn.

Jezebel's Evil Sister

I think you are wildly over-inflating your IQ.

An IQ of 23...

Headache

You are not pro-life, you are pro-fetus.

Once the fetus is born, you couldn't care less if it died, which is why USA have such high infant mortality, high degrees of poverty, no universal health care, death penalty and a rampant military hero worshiping culture. That is pro-death and not pro-life.

Edit: Not to mention the crazy US gun laws.

Why does your side call us "pro-abortion?"

I believe your I.Q. MIGHT be as high as 23.

Oh my gawd, I can't believe I missed his name. "My IQ is 23"? I seriously doubt it's that high.

@J Arcenas "An IQ of 23..."

Yeah, that's why I said 'widly over-inflating'.

(Note: I'm not Jezebel's Evil Sister from above. I took the name for comedic effect...)

Thinking Allowed

That's the first time I've heard the term "anti-choice".

@Thinking Allowed

Really? I've been using it for years, and so has a lot of my family.

No, because WE don't advocate abortions. We advocate making them available. I can't think of any Pro-Choicer that wouldn't be overjoyed that each and every abortion clinic in the country was shut down because no one wanted or needed an abortion. However, for that to happen, one needs to address a number of things, the first thing on that list is the folly that is Abstinence Only education, and teach the children about proper protection, and that if they feel they need to have sex, that there are ways of doing it SAFELY.

10/20/2008 5:48:33 PM

Because you're not pro life, you want to save the unborn fetuses but you want wars to be fought and send people to the chair.

10/20/2008 5:56:45 PM

evilred

No. We believe in CHOICE and would like to reduce the number of abortions through better education & use of birth control. YOU are anti-choice and want to force women to give birth because it's what you believe is "moral". Big difference.

Why do pro-choice folks call the other side, "anti-choice"?

Do you know, I've never called you lot "anti-choice"...

I just call you anti-freedom, since you want to take a womans freedom away from her.

10/20/2008 6:06:12 PM

I've never heard anyone call anyone anti-choice.

10/20/2008 6:12:25 PM

No, because we're not completely opposite views, we're more like at a 45 degree angle.

Look here:

Pro-life view:
You want an abortion? Suck it, you're not getting one
You don't? You're not getting one anyway

Pro-choice view:
You want an abortion? Okay, but it'll be gross and stuff. Here's the paperwork. Fill that shit out.
You don't? Whatever.

So you can be described as 'pro-life' [Though fetuses aren't really alive, they're sorta like parasites] or 'anti-choice', they both apply to your setup.

With us, 'death' is just an option, so we're pro-option-of-death, but pro-choice is more concise, and more accurate since fetuses aren't really independent lifeforms.

10/20/2008 6:18:19 PM

Your IQ is about right at 23 if you can't figure out the definition of the word "choice"!

10/20/2008 6:30:00 PM

mice power

his logic is correct but you dumbtards cannot accept it.

the negative of 'pro-choice' is 'anti-choice'.
the the negative of 'pro-life' is 'anti-life'.

how hard is it to get that into your thick skulls? very hard, it looks like.

10/20/2008 6:41:04 PM

kingoftheheavies

No, you fuckers have the "pro-death" tag all wrapped up for yourselves. What with your love love of war, torture, capital punishment, denial of euthanasia, third-world desperation...

10/20/2008 6:42:28 PM

Dane

I see where you going, however it is not the same. We do not wish death upon anybody. We just do not think that anyone has the right to tell somebody what to do with their own body, thus pro-choice. You do not believe that a women has an individual right to do what she wishes with her body, thus anti-choice. You see, you are taking away the CHOICE part of it.

As stated by others, I think that's a rather generous estimate.
