"this is not based on Proof, and the Theory of Evolution has been disproved by several people ...

I asked for the Belief about How we came about, since we Obviously have a beginning and and end ...

am I to conclude that you believe that you just happened to exist ... came about from Brainless matter ?

from some in-animate matter which couldn't make any cognitive decisions?

If so then this Superstition at its peak ...

Names and citations please for the "several people" who have disproved evolution. Otherwise, I will have to call BULLSHIT!

Believing that everything in the universe came about through natural forces would be the exact opposite of superstition. But thanks for trying.

We never said we came from nothing, the Earth is older by far than even the first life on it. The universe is much older than Earth and the Big Bang was Everything in a very small space

Time changes everything y'know.

Very few living things are able to make cognitive decisions either. What has that got to do with anything?

Oh wait, I forgot, you think ants can talk because your holy book says so.

"the Theory of Evolution has been disproved by several people ..."

Why do I think that "why are there still monkeys" is among the disproving arguments?

"am I to conclude that you believe that you just happened to exist ... came about from Brainless matter ?

from some in-animate matter which couldn't make any cognitive decisions?"

Am I to conclude that you think that think that brains appear out of thin air, fully developed within our skulls, and are composed out of "animate" matter?

...the Theory of Evolution has been disproved by several people...

Name three.

Saying "I disbelieve" didn't work for my Mage: The Ascension GM, and it won't work here either, ass.

Religious fundamentalists 'disproving' the Theory of Evolution by saying "GODDIDIT!" doesn't constitute as disproved. Move along!

The theory of evolution does not touch on the question of how we "came about." But it's always a pleasant chuckle to be accused of superstition by a religious nutball.

And your religions have been disproven by an entire human history of your gods' and demigods' nonexistence. So, raspberries to you.

No, you are to conclude that I believe that you came about from Brainless matter.

I think "superstition at its peak" is believing that the inanimate matter which couldn't make any cognitive decisions was the mudpie that became Adam.

the Theory of Evolution has been disproved by several people

This isn't "Through the Looking Glass" - what you say three times doesn't automatically become true. All arguments against the ToE fall into one of the following fallacious arguments:

Argument from personal incredulity: I personally don't see how the ToE can be true, therefor, it's false.

God of the Gaps argument: Science can't explain X, therefore, God did it.

Argument from Ignorance: You can't answer question X, therefore you're wrong and I'm right.

There's also the "prove me wrong" technique: I don't believe in gravity; I think God holds us all down on the earth. Prove me wrong"

"this is not based on Proof,"
Yes it is AND being verified on a daily basis by ALL fields of science, by scientists of ALL religions - including your own.

Just a thought: I don't think a spermatozoon has a brain. Neither does an ovum. But together, they eventually make a human being, who (usually) has advanced cognitive abilities. We all come from "brainless matter", then, don't we?
