Atheists have an affinity for reality over self deception which is very hard to break. You might paraphrase another observation by saying that reality has an atheistic bias. Only when god finally restores the first lost arm or leg will that bias be broken. So Fundies, you have your first project; you all pick the same armless person and all pray that god restore that limb. If god really exists and gives a shit about the world he/she/it will surely restore that lost limb when so many of his/her/its folllowers pray unceasingly. NO? Enough said!

Hmm, the link to this question is not working for me.
Quite possibly not Fundy. Without more information I can't tell just how she meant this question.
I don't know for sure that it's NOT possible to 'deprogram' us, though I think an attempt to do so would reinforce my belief in the craziness of the 'deprogrammers'.
