Religion WAS made to answer people['s] questions. Whether it does so successfully or not is a matter of debate (big hint though: no).
Christianity IS a way of life. But then again, so is alcoholism and grifting. Doesn't make them good, relevant, or worthy of praise.
And, honestly, you are assuming that they didn't read the Bible at all, basically just accusing of being lazy, unintelligent, as well as a liar, while explicitly calling him an "asshole" as well. You're a real peach. Learn that kind of manners from the Bible, or was it just a slip up, which will be shortly remedied by a trip to the prayer closet?

I'll admit I've never read it in its entirety. Mostly because I can't get past the bullshit, ignorance and outright insanity in the first few sentences of Genesis. Makes it kind of hard to take the rest seriously.
