A "little" place called hell?
With the amount of people you think belong there, it almost has to be the size of a small planet.

Wow. That must have been the most psychopathically calm, gathered and murderous writing style I've ever seen on this site.
Congrats, you're really, really spooky.
I guess I should finally ask: what *exactly* is a Poe, and why are they called that way?

Poe's Law states:
"Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing"

If someone wants to believe you go to hell if you have an abortion, fine. That's between God and the woman. In fact, if someone wants to believe you go to hell for eating cheesecake with the same fork you used for the chicken or for wearing red socks, that's fine, too. The problem is when they try to make it a civil law that applies to everyone whether they have the same beliefs or not.

Ok, I have to give the author of that a thumbs-up for style and dry wit. However, I have to treat the author with contempt for the actual content of the post.

Number of times fundies mention abortion - constantly.
Number of times abortion mentioned in the bible - ZERO.
This "sin" is raised by Men (who have the luxury of not having to cope with a bad pregnancy) or women who come from Stepford.
A womans body is not property.

So, what's next? We're going to get quotes from the Landover Baptist Church here?
Can't we make a list on the front page of all well-known Poe-sites?

This is the first documented example of a religious fanatic successfully utilising sarcasm and irony... Perhaps they are evolving ;)

List of Poe sites idea seconded. Maybe it could be on the submissions page, so people see it when it's relevant.

I am more than pleased to announce that this website is no more. It is deceased, gone to meet its maker, joined the choir inviisible.
In short: It's snuffed it!
Whether this site was parody or not, the concept was disquieting.
