Quote# 44856

God has made an almost incomprehensibly complex creation for scientists to study. Though lots of questions remain, two things are clear. One, true science powerfully confirms the literal truth of Genesis chapters 1–11. Two, evolutionary stories are fatally flawed in explaining the cosmos, the rock layers of the earth with their fossils, and the origin and diversity of living things. Of course, that is no big surprise, since the Bible is the inerrant propositional revelation of the Creator.

Dr. Mortenson earned a B.A. in math from the University of Minnesota in 1975, a M.Div. in systematic theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Illinois, in 1992, and holds a Ph.D. in history of geology from Coventry University, UK, in 1996.

Don't ask me how someone with a Ph.D. in geology can possible believe in a Young Earth. The congnitive dissonance should be enough to drive a person insane. Wait...

Which one of the two competing and somewhat contradictory creation stories back to back in Genesis is the literal truth Terry? Which of the two is inerrant? They can't both be, they disagree. Oh c'mon Ter, we all know that "true science" and Answers in Genesis are contradictions.

evolutionary stories are fatally flawed in explaining the cosmos

This cookbook I got doesn't teach me how to repair a car!
This comic book doesn't explain chemistry at all!
This coloring book is worthless! I can't find any mathematical equations in it.
