Quote# 44680

[replying to: He created us for His pleasure and what good would we be if we could not communicate with Him and how could we serve Him if we didn't know what expectations He had of us?. Example, if you have kids, would you choose not to speak to them?]

If I had a basically infinate amount of kids, I wouldn't have time to speak to all of them personally.

God is perfect, but humans are not. Humans had to write down the Bible, because God couldn't.

God is perfect, but humans are not. Humans had to write down the Bible, because God couldn't.

What are his hands broke or is he 'occupied' with something else?

"God is perfect, but humans are not. Humans had to write down the Bible, because God couldn't."

Those statements are contradictory. If God is perfect but humans are not, how come humans could do it and God couldn't? Sounds like humans are actually better than God.

"He created us for his pleasure" huh. Got to make you wonder why he was unable to write.

Wait, God is perfect BUT He's unable to write down the Bible(however, apparently mere humans can, WTF) and speak to so many children?. Man, I think that you should reconsider the meaning of the word "perfect".

Thank you for finally admitting that MAN wrote the bible, not your God, because your God couldn't!

So much for being all powerful.

So even though God is omnipotent and omnipresent he can't talk to everyone and can't even write a fucking book?!

Hi

"God is perfect, but humans are not. Humans had to write down the Bible, because God couldn't."

Can I quote you on that?

Oops, too late. I just did. :)

There are "just" 6*10^9 "kids" on earth, one should think that god would have no problems to speak to them.
If he wished he could use something that is called TV (or internet) and was created by these imperfect humans you talk about. Unless god had more perfect ways to do it ;-)

According to the bible he talked to lots of people in history, smetimes even accompanied by nice divine pyrotechnics, like burning pieces local fauna. No reason why he should do this allegedly 4000 years ago, but no more today.

If this god thing is perfect, how come he created a no-brainer like you?
Many of the stories in the Bible had to be told by story-tellers and poets to an illiterate audience.
To keep a story interesting, they always added thier own "embellishments" which got passed on up to the time that quill hit the parchment, or iron scatched the stone (that's why the ancient scripts were written right-to-left, or your God was left-handed).

If I had a basically infinate amount of kids, I wouldn't have time to speak to all of them personally.

If you had an infinite amount of kids then your reality would consist of nothing but children in all directions.

Since there exist things that aren't human, God did not have an infinite number of children.

Uh... so God is perfect and can do anything except for writing the bible and defeating iron chariots?

Can you image if the bible had been written on an iron chariot?

"He created us for His pleasure"

WHOOOOOO

"If I had a basically infinate amount of kids, I wouldn't have time to speak to all of them personally."

Yes, but we must also assume you are all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving, and afraid of iron chariots.

"God is perfect, but humans are not. Humans had to write down the Bible, because God couldn't."

But He is ALL-POWERFUL
And He can't even write a book?
