Has anyone bought Guitar Hero: On Tour? I was thinking about buying it for myself. I bought Guitar Hero 3 for Xbox 360 for $9.99 without the guitar. And after a day or so of playing it I threw it out, because it was crawling with demonic and occult symbols ... not to mention the song "the mark of the beast" where the singer was singing "666" over and over again ... I was utterly shocked. And quite frankly I still am. So I was wondering if On Tour was any better. I don't want to spend $50 and find out it was a waste of money. If I ask about On Tour on Yahoo Answers, or another website they won't tell me exactly what I need to know.

Rock music not having anything to do with the occult and Satan? What the Hell? That's insane.

Sure they will. They'll tell you you're a friggin' loonie cultist and you need to get a life. That's exactly what you need to know!

Dio can you hear me?
I am lost and so alone.
I'm askin' for your guidance.
Won't you come down from your throne?
I need a tight compadre who will teach me how to rock.
My father thinks you're evil,
But man, he can suck a cock.
Rock is not The Devil's work,
It's magical and rad.
I'll never rock as long as I am stuck here with my dad

"nd after a day or so of playing it I threw it out, because it was crawling with demonic and occult symbols ... not to mention the song "the mark of the beast" where the singer was singing "666" over and over again ..."

Didn't the fact that the game consists almost exclusively of rock music tip you off that you wouldn't be hearing Kum Ba Yah?

"I was utterly shocked. And quite frankly I still am."

You poor thing. How ever will you recover?

"So I was wondering if On Tour was any better. I don't want to spend $50 and find out it was a waste of money. If I ask about On Tour on Yahoo Answers, or another website they won't tell me exactly what I need to know."

Probably because they can spot crazy from a mile away.

This is more of a question, but singing 666? I don't know anything about metal, but that seems pretty lame.

I hear you brave young Osiris,
You are hungry for the rock.
But to learn the ancient method,
Sacred doors you must unlock.
Escape your father's clutches,
And this oppressive neighborhood.
On a journey you must go,
To find the land of Hollywood!
In The City of Fallen Angels,
Where the ocean meets the sand,
You will form a strong alliance,
And the world's most awesome band!
To find your fame and fortune,
Through the valley you must walk.
You will face your inner demons.
Now go my son and rock!

That's number of the beast, stupid.

And I love that song.

And On Tour sucks, you can't play guitar on a portable system. It's madness. And blasphemy.

The only thing you need to know, is that you should hole up in a cave. Since you are demonstrating that you are not capable of handling the little things in life, how would you ever handle anything big, you know, those things that aren't in a video game.

There are multiple difficulty settings for that game. If you don't know any of the songs, dummy, it will kick your ass on "easy".
In your frustration, you threw the baby out with the bathwater.
"I tried that game, but I sucked- er, it was too demonic, or something"

Sorry, but On Tour is just as hard as Guitar Hero 3.
Keep practicing, and you'll get better.

I've never seen anything wrong with any of the songs on Gutiar Hero. But then again, I grew up listening to most of those songs.

...because it was crawling with demonic and occult symbols ... not to mention the song "the mark of the beast" where the singer was singing "666" over and over again ... I was utterly shocked. And quite frankly I still am.
Oh Boo-Hoo. It's just a game. No need to be taken seriously.

Yes, as a metal head, I will admit that "The Number of the Beast" is a pretty lame song,

It is pretty fundie too.

Fuck... I hate maiden.

Play Organ Hero, that's more of your thing.

Or play a game that allows you to play as a fundy who runs around and kills people with different point of religious views. It's ok as long its for Jesus.

"I bought Guitar Hero 3 for Xbox 360 for $9.99 without the guitar."

Okay, this raises two possibilities:

1. You owned a previous Guitar Hero game. You fail for thinking that a sequel/spinoff to not one but two games that you had already played would be radically different to said two games.

2. You actually played a Guitar Hero game with a regular controller. If this is true, you fail at life.

*NUMBER* OF THE BEAST YOU MORON!!

Iron Maiden rule!!

You can't hate Maiden, they were the first metal! Just coz you can actually understand what they say, and it doesn't sound like a cat throwing up, doesn't mean they're not metal.

All the TRUE metal-heads love and respect Maiden

(I'm not a metal-head, so don't quiz me on metal, my favourite band is Queen ffs!)

You are a lying sack of s***. If you're any kind of Christian you would already know that Guitar Hero is all about "digital air guitar" for rock music.

And the simple-minded question you purport to have could very easily be answered at any gaming website--ANY site.

On Tour rocks! It even comes with a guitar pick stylus and neat stickers! It has great songs too like Do What You Want by OK Go, and Knock Me Down by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Buy it, it's really fun. I played it so much I sprained my little finger, that was 3 days ago and I still can't bend it! WOOHOO!

Make this post #1,356,458 about teh ebul videear games! First it was burning WiiFit because there was yoga. Then there was Rock Band for having *shock and amazement!* Rock & Roll music! Then it was Guitar Hero for satanic imagery and *shock and amazement once again!* rock music. I'm sorry to tell you, Numb3rs, but Guitar Hero: On Tour has a song by KISS. You know? Kids in Satan's Service?

And FWIW, I played Guitar Hero 3 on my sister's Wii tonight and that sucked major donkey balls. I love GH3 for the PS2. I hate the way the Star Power activation is controlled through the WiiMote, which you stick in the guitar controller. With my GH3 guitar for the PS2, you can fart on it and activate Star Power, but on the Wii guitar controller, you have to jerk the neck up so hard you damn near smack yourself in the face with it. >:(

Alright, if I can receive an injury from that game I'm totally buying it. If I ruin my fingers, maybe I can get out of doing dishes for a change. I sort of hate it that there is no orange button, though. It seems that it would make all of the songs like Medium mode on the regular game.

GH3 is quite cool, and I have no idea how many hours me and my GF has spent playing it. That being said, I'm having great trouble figuring out how to hit that orange fret button; the blue one is quite enough of a hassle as of yet.

Oh, and that's "Number of the beast" dear... "Number..."

Also, it's just music you brainwashed dolt!
