If they find life on Mars I will say the same thing I say about life here on Earth.
God did it.

No you won't. Any discussion of life on another planet is bound to focus on evolution, which means you'll go "blah blah, Darwinist indoctrination, blah blah, Satan's trickery, blah blah."
You know you've reached an inhuman level of predictability when people can even forecast your back-pedalling.
It will be fun to see the fundies on other planets.
"Well we have this holy book about Earth. But it also says "thou shalt not question the holy word" and "thou shalt believe in Jesus"... so exactly the same creation took place here.
Actually, the bible states that there isno extraterrestrial life out there. So if there IS, then it will finally disprove the bible once and for all (even though we've mangaed that just fine on our own so far).
Actually fundies could argue that, since the stars and planets are all part of God's creation, then the same formula for salvation applies to any life found there. However it is interesting that many of them have totally ignored that possibility until now. As far as I can tell, any idea of alien life was considered at best "a satanic illusion", or else something to do with the "nephilim".
If they find that there was never a city of Sodom, or else it's been magically expunged from the planet earth, what will you say? No, no, not... goditit (!?)

How convenient for you. Unfortunately it explains just as much as when you do it for life on Earth, thus making it totally useless.
Coming up with explanations for things before they even happen.
It's stretching a bit to call "goddidit" an explanation, since it's a means to avoid having to give any further explanation.
Why then does he never mention it?
Not only does he not mention life on Mars, he doesn't even mention Mars!
I'd say that makes him extremely modest, were it not for his infinite arrogance
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Nothing about space or other planets at all.
maybe he just created the earth and mount olympus -- i meant the heavens.
GODDITIT LULZ!!11!!1!
...damn fundies >_>.
If they find life on Mars I will say the same thing I say about life here on Earth.
Abiogenesis caused it, then evolution made it go a bit further.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
