Perhaps if you are concered about the teenage pregnacy babies being put up for adoption and going to gay couples, you should embrace abortion as a means to stop it happening!
I'd well prefer to have a child of mine raised by gay folks as opposed to being raised ignorant of society, ignorant of the natural world, of religion, politics, birth control, capital punishment, medical research and abortion.
Also, I would prefer if a child of mine was not traumtised by being told that if they think for themselves they will 'burn for eternity'.
Besides, if my child was raised by gay people they would at least have a balanced view of the world and a good dress sense (have you seen what mormons and the like are wearing these days, they're one step short of a hijab).

Is "Imagine giving your baby up for adoption then finding out a gay couple adopted your baby?!" really an exclamatory question? Maybe I'm a bit rusty, but I thought that when you started a sentence with a verb it inevitably ended up being a declarative sentence unless compounded by a question.

Why should you care? You gave the baby up, the fact that another family is willing to love and care for it when you wouldn't, even if they have a different sexual orientation shouldn't matter. Also, just because someone grows up with gay parents doesn't mean they will be gay, just tolerant.

Well, if, for whatever reason, I gave a child up for adoption, I'd be doing it for the sake of the child. I'd be doing it to give it a better life. And, if a gay couple were the best life for that child, I'd be happy and satisfied that the child was being loved and cared for by a loving, happy family.
There, I've imagined it. And, although I have an extremely difficult time imagining being in a position where I'd give a child up for adoption, I have no problem whatsoever imagining said child in a loving environment. I just would hope and pray the kid didn't get adopted by fundies; I'd hate my genes to take that route in life.
I hope that when Obama wins, and I personally have little doubt that anything else will happen, you fundies will all just take off. You can't take being here? You are free to leave at any time. ANY. TIME.
