Lyrics aside, there is quite a bit of study out here on the effect of rythym and percussion. A lot of it has roots directly to African Voodoo and the trance states produced with drums opening a subconscious portal for spirits. The rythym of stringed instruments also has a similar effect. Jimmy Page is a master of the guitar riff and it is a major part of the Led Zeppelin sound (along with the heavy drum sound he produced for their records) and all metal music which he heavily influenced. Page was a total devotee of Crowley, practicing black magik and actually lives in his old castle. Doesn't get any creepier than that!

Trust me, there's far creepier stuff out there than Jimmy Page.

Did the boys in LZ catch a small shark and use it to do exual thing to groupies.

If I'm thinking correctly, then that's much mroe creepy than some fake occultic activity.

The origins of Voodoo was the African slaves way of saying "thank you" to thier heartless christian masters.
Now that is creepy.
As you sow, so shall you reap. Enjoy your harvest.

Once again, I would like to offer heartfelt thanks to the Prince of Darkness for giving us rock and roll.

If God has a problem with beats, then why do we have heartbeats? If God has a problem with drums, then why do we have eardrums?
:p
