God is real, and therefore of course is "real by default". There are any number of perfectly good reasons why you yourself don't believe in God, all of them coincide nicely with what the Bible says about people who refuse the knowledge of the truth.

Because God is real, and because you use false assertions, basically lies, to deny His reality, and refuse to even discuss the issue in a rational way, supposing for the sake of argument that the matter is as yet unsettled, but rather insist that God, who reveals Himself to all through conscience and through the natural world, has somehow magically never revealed Himself to you personally, I am safe in my understanding. I need not open my mind or question my beleifs fully, because the default position is that God is real and that you are a liar going to hell.

Please show how you arrived at this conclusion.

Many x-tians claim that atheists 'deny' god, as if they know full well he exists but are just being obstinant. In my case it has been decades of taking for granted that everyone in my life knew what they were talking about and that all would be revealed to me some day. Well it was. I woke up from my theological coma. If you have irrefutable proof of god's existance, most folks would be glad to hear it. If all you have is, 'i have faith' because someone told you so, then balls to you. You are just another person who can't handle the insignificance of your own life and mortality so you cling to an ancient story of a bi-polar deity.

Maybe I'm misreading this, but to me this sounds like: "God's real and therefore of course the default position is that God is real. Because the default position is that God is real, God must be real."

Did I miss something?

Assuming God as the default state of the universe is irrational. I could say that Enki (Sumerian god of water and life) is the default state because we see the life that comes wherever water is present. His fertility is our sustenance. Can you prove or disprove that with your "rational" logic? But he revealed himself through conscience! Yeah, I think you're on a one-way trip to the underworld, disbeliever.

At least we have evidence of Shane Roach's gullibility from this post right here, but we have yet to see undeniable evidence of this "God" he claims exists. Even so, this argument still doesn't hold water, because Shane Roach might have been quite reasonable before getting a lobotomy.

Please show the evidence that it is your god and not Brahman, Allah or Odin that is revealing him/it-self to all through conscience and the natural world.

There is only one reason that I don't believe in gods, or rather, why I am hesitant to believe in gods: I find no evidence for the existence of any gods, and I find no reason to believe in gods. OK, two reasons, sort of.
