Quote# 38570

Fine with the teeth. Yes in post flood days we had a more vigourous diet of meat.
Our bodies are fine. I don't know the actual original body of Adam and so some changes may be in order.

For example originaly women were not to have birthpain . However God gave Eve the punishment of birthpain, which female animals don't have, and since this pain comes from womens unique body shape then we must conclude there bodies were changed at the fall.
Still sexy but might of even been better.

You've never been around an animal that's giving birth have you?

I think even if your argument about birth pain was correct, it would not make sense because you would be arguing that humans were originally more like animals.

:D

No. Pain comes not from shape, but from birthing contractions (which all animals experience at birth), and from trying to push a large object through a small hole (again common to all animals).

All I can say is, if this is what you really believe, you're dumber than a pile of sheep shit.

Methinks Bobby here is a city boy, and has never seen any animals giving birth.

Have you ever seen an animal give birth? Have you ever heard an animal give birth?

Having spent much of my childhood on an aunt & uncle's dairy farm, I have.

And, your remark about it not being painful for animals is dead wrong.

If women weren't originally meant to give birth, who was? How did humans procreate?

You have a lot of questions to answer, RobertByers.

Actually animals do have pain at child birth.
The reason human females have a greater problem than animals is because human infants have enormous heads. Did God increase the size of the human head after kicking Adam and Eve out of the garden?

Edit: @John said it better than I did.

Women have birthing problems because our brains have evolved faster than our pelvic openings. So the bronze age goat-herders who wrote the Bible invented an explanation for why humans have more problems than their goats.

Female animals don't have birth pains? You've obviously not ever been around an animal giving birth. They also have breeches, still births, and even cesareans are performed.

My sister on the other hand had 45 minutes labour, does that make her especially loved by god?

So, women have pain in childbirth, as punishment for *eating a piece of FRUIT*?

Plus, I've watched plenty of births. The look on the momma cat's face just screamed "PAIN"... and "exhausted", but who wouldn't be after pushing out a whole litter of babies?

Maybe women didn't need to have contractions to birth...

Maybe women had 2 1/2 foot wide hips and the vagina yawned open like a big mouth and the baby just fell out?

It makes sense. I saw a particularly fat lady with 2 1/2 foot wide hips and I have no reason to doubt the yawning vagina.

and for more info look up vaginal prolapse, or prolapse in general

Hmm .. here's a thought. I was raised Atheist and ended up having a mostly pain free, natural childbirth. (I say mostly because there was some tearing at the end). Coincidence?

"I don't know the actual original body of Adam..."

Well, Adam tried to pick me up at a gay bar about 10 years ago. For being 6,000 years old, I thought he was pretty buff, but then he started going on and on about naming all the animals and then he started ragging on Eve and I just thought to myself: "This guy has too much baggage."

one of my problems with the argument about women being punished with birthing pains is the fact that there are quite a lot of women out there who have pain free births. Have these women somehow been absolved of the original sin or is the story of why women have birthing pains a crock of shit!
