Word salad. If 'love' means cruelty and ignorance, complete indifference to unnecessary suffering, and 'hate' means, say, what a mother (generally) feels towards her children, I prefer 'hate'. But really, fundies know this deep down. That's why they are adamant it must be a personal choice or else their whole argument falls to pieces and their clear hatred is shown for what it is.

Stop using the Bible for guidelines. I will give you a much simpler litmus test.
If it promotes love and life, without causing abject misery for everyone else, then it's God's will. Everything else is varying degrees of evil.
Apply mostly to self. Avoid making presumptuous assumptions of what may benefit other persons. Or at least ask first.
