Quote# 36355

[After being told by another user (not me in this case) that "chimps have a baculum (penis bone) and humans don't. The other 206 bones, though, are in one-to-one correspondence", Guzman's reply was this classic:]

and what about the bones and organs in bacteria?...are we truly just enlarged bacteria? If not you better come up with an explanation for the novelty.

"are we truly just enlarged bacteria? If not you better come up with an explanation for the novelty."

We have. It's called "evolution".

No, we are not enlarged bacteria...we are effectively massive networks of specifically structured bacteria.

And...bacteria with bones and organs? Classic!

Bacteria with bones? *guffaw*

I would give you a book on bacteria, but you would just ignore it.

There are just as many bones in a bacteria as there are brain cells in a fundie.

I have a few suggestions for Guzman, but all are uncomfortable, most are painful and many are just physically impossible.

I've said it before: someone with access to the internet has no excuse for this kind of idiocy.

This is just... I... he must realize that bacteria don't really have bones, right? Please tell me this is just garden-variety stupid and he doesn't really not know the difference between single-celled and multicellular organisms? (Granted prokaryote vs eukaryote is probably a bit above his reading level, but still...)

Bacteria have bones now?

I'm surprised supersport hasn't even learnt a single thing throughout all his debating. That or he is not showing it

They just don't exist, because bacteriae are PROCARIOT CELLS. Google for this explanation which is a novelty for you, science illiterate.

I wonder if Stupidsport took his alias from Cardinal Guzman?

I'm only halfway through the book, but so far it seems quite fitting.

I'm not surprised you think bacteria have skeletons. You also believe butterflies have wombs, DNA is controlled by will alone, and that Neanderthals were normal humans who died out because they ate too much refined sugar and baked goods.

At this point you're too pathetic to make fun of anymore.
