If God is the creator of us all, then that would make God the parent of us all.
So if a parent wants his or her children to die on their command, wouldn't that parent be arrested for child abuse and be condemned a s a horrible parent?

Why can't all you religious nuts be like the Buddhists? You never hear of Buddhists blowing themselves up "in the name of Buddhism" or "dying for Buddha." At worst, a few of the more unstable of them seem to have an odd desire to immolate themselves on occasion in protest of something but they don't take out innocent bystanders with their zeal.
I think more of you fundies should set fire to yourselves if you're so gung-ho to "die for Jesus." Hell, maybe your Gawd will make you fireproof and you'll survive unscathed. Think of all the converts you'd get with that one.
