So I'm a Christian. I'm itching to go see a decent movie. Can't go see Beowulf cause of its anti-Christian slams and needless sexuality (whatever happened to having two people kiss passionately in bed and then... fade to black? eh, oh well). So, I figure I'll go see the Mist cause it doesn't have any sex scenes and I remember listening to it on audio when I was younger. As far as I could remember there wasn't anything on the audio like what happened in the film. I dunno if they added that, probably not, since it's something Stephen King tends to do (reading the Stand, right now), but man did that crazy bible-thumper drive me crazy. I can't imagine how many people laughed at my religion because of that woman and this movie. I can't imagine how many people left feeling that was an accurate depiction of Christianity. Ugh... all I could do to keep myself from walking out was clap when the biker dude said, "I believe in God too, lady, I just don't think he's the blood thirsty a-shole you make him out to be." Man... what a drag of a movie. I wish they would have filled the time in the super market with something else besides "let's debate Christianity." I get it, I get it, none of you like Christians and think we're all a joke. Just do me a favor, try attacking Islam for a change. Freshen it up a bit for yourselves, cause it's get'n old for me trying to find a decent film anymore that doesn't have some kind of anti-Christian agenda. I mean for crying out loud I can't even see the Golden Compass, even if it is watered-down.
