Do you know it is the cross of Christ that holds us together?
Really, no bull, it is the cross that holds every thing about us together. 2000 years ago Paul wrote
For he ( Christ) holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it.
I know you are thinking, blah blah balh, what an idiot, what a moron. This has nothing to do with faith. This is SCIENCE. Pure BIOLOGY. What Paul wrote back then has been found to be true today. It only took ‘science’ 2100 years to find it out. It’s called ‘laminin’ and its what hold you together. Every cell in your body is held together with laminin. Its that simple. Your skin cells, your cells that make up your brain, your organs, your flesh, all of them. Just like the ‘skin’ on a sausage link holds the sausage together, laminin holds you together. But you know what the great part of this is??? For the atheists out there who knows what’s coming now, does it just drive you crazy the way God puts his fingerprints on everything? Don’t you hate it when Science points BACK to the cross of cavalry? Oh I know you will say it is a coincidence or ‘a random chance’ but deep in side you know better. Wanna see the fingerprints of God? You might as well, you are covered with them. Billions and billions of them. From the top down, each of us is covered with the cross.

Hey look -- the hammer is seeing nails ...
Are you sure that ain't the Staff of Apollo, or more realistically, two line segments that happen to be perpendicular, because the shape is useful and appropriate?
The Bible says A, science shows B... observe through Fundieprism...
Hey look! The Bible predicted exactly what science shows!!!
Wait, so where does evolution say that cells should fall apart?
What the fuck? Isn't it utterly obvious to anyone that in order for a species to evolve it must at the very least not fall apart into individual cells all the time? Isn't it obvious that whatever keeps cells together evolved naturally?
"I know you are thinking, What an idiot, blah, blah, blah. What a moron."
Wow. You read my mind! How do you do that?
Look, bub, it's a fuckin' simplification, that's what it is! I mean, look at the SPM images, for fuck's sake! None of them is a cross...
Well, here's another theory.
Some of the most important materials on Earth are polymers. The protein, fat and carbs are specific types of polymers, which are basically long noodly strands. Some polymers also contain benzene rings, which look like meaty spheres to me. If anything, polymers are evidence of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
RAmen.
It's probably worth noting too, that very often a cross shape in a two-dimensional image actually looks different in three dimensions.
FOr example, Methane is usually drawn as a cross with C at the center and H's at the tips, when in actual space, the molecule is a tripod shape
But the first picture looks like a scorpion and the second like a guy on crack, I think.
Anyway, if I showed you a photo of a couple of turds in a cross shape you'd declare them holy?
First off: Calvary. Cavalry are armed men on horseback.
Second: Your argument goes:
Paul wrote that the Cross holds us together.
I read this thing that says "laminin" holds us together.
Therefore, "laminin" must be what Paul meant!
You're ignoring the strong possibility that Paul was being metaphoric, and didn't know a damn thing about biology in an age that hadn't discovered germ theory yet and still treated illnesses based on the four humors.
Third: You don't get to say "billions and billions" without someone making Carl Sagan jokes at your expense.
But it's the Sphincter that allows us to live!
And noodly thingies, yeah, RAmen.
For he ( Christ) holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and it grows as God nourishes it.
I see no mention of this protein.
OMG, no way, that is totally amazing! I mean seriously what are the odds of two lines coming together to form that holy shape? Clearly the work of god.
What held people together before Christ? Did the laminin molecule resemble a pentacle?
So in verse one God created matter and time and the entire Universe, including the heavens and the Earth. However now He is going to get more specific and give a narrative about the order of events concerning that most interesting to the inhabitants of the Earth. Genesis isn't going to discuss the rings of Saturn or novas or background radiation or red shift.
Might I make an observation? The Bible may agree with science, but it is not a science book. It is a message from God to man. Much of it, such as Genesis, is an historical narrative. So I am going to present this book as being primarily an historical account rather than a textbook on astrophysics. On the other hand, God made science and understands it so the Bible is not going to contradict the very laws of nature God created.
Our first glance tells us that there is not yet any light but rather darkness. There is water. The Earth was still unformed. We are at the very beginning of the planet Earth and as yet God has apparently created no stars or the Sun. It seems that God's first focus is upon the Earth rather than the Universe as a whole.
This is in direct opposition to the evolutionist/naturalistic point of view that there was a big bang and clouds of dust formed stars and planets and long after this the Earth was a piece of stuff that was caught up in the gravitational pull of the Sun and eventually morphed into our planet.

We don't even need to make it out of Genesis to show that the Bible is a made up piece of shit.
Please tell me which was created first, Man or fowl?
"Do you know it is the cross of Christ that holds us together?
Really, no bull, it is the cross that holds every thing about us together." tl;dr...
No! Really?!?!111one? And here's me thinking all along that it was the Force:
'It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together.'
-Obi-Wan Kenobi
Well, colour me surprised. [/sarcasm]
@GigaGuess
"Wow...I wish I could live in a world without coincidences."
Not if you've read the manga by CLAMP, "xxxHOLiC".
Confused?
