Goosey: Not too sure about that; they're more like a single-edged sword that can't be held without pointing the edge toward yourself.

The only thing sharp about Scripture is when the edge of the page gives you a paper cut. Otherwise it's a collection of books 2+ millennia old that need lots of interpretation to relate to modern life.

Our chief weapon is surprise!
...Surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our three weapons are fear, and surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope....
Our four...no... Amongst our weapons.... Hmf... Amongst our weaponry...are such elements as fear, surpr.... I'll come in again.

Curious metaphor that double-edged sword.
Plus, the scriptures are a dull, bent sword made of chrome-plated Korean cheese.

I always liked the metaphor, "sharp as a bowling ball".

Also, it's time to learn something about grammar, punctuation, and mechanics.

Numbers 11:19-20
"Now the Lord will give you meat, and you will eat it. You will not eat it for just one day, or two days, or five, ten, or twenty days, but for a whole month - until it comes out of your nostrils and you loathe it - because you have rejected the Lord, who is among you..."
I'm just not seeing it.

Ha ha ha!
This one is funny in the 'inadvertantly clever' way.
Though I'm surprised he didn't call it a '2 edge sword'. Seems he only uses numbers when it's not appropriate.

You're giving Christians way too much credit. You're assuming that most of them actually read the bible. They don't. They believe it because they have been told to.

Time to drop the H-bomb of truth on these primitive fuckers!
btw all, the knob end is paraphrasing Ephesians 6.
I much prefer the crap about donning the breastplate of righteousness myself.

This reminds of that scene in the movie 'Saved!' where one of the characters screams, holding a Bible - "this is not a weapon!"
It may be a movie, but it's true. The Bible is not a weapon.

Its time 2 learn the scriptures...
It's time to learn English too. You won't convince anyone of your intellectual superiority by replacing words with numbers... trust me on that.

Number of keystrokes saves by substituting "2" for "to": two
Is it really worth it to type like that and make yourself look like an illiterate ass?
Even more so when trying to discuss a _book_?
