if we evolved...why don't we eveolve today? IN PUBLIC...why (if u still believe in the sasquach) must we do it in private, away form scientist that can record it? and don't tell me "because we are perfectly adapt and no longer need 2 evolve" because, if we came from monkey's, why don't they evolve since thier not perfectly adapt? scientist have been watching and waiting 2 c if thier lab animals will evolve rite b4 thier eyes 4 centuries and what have they got? We are evolving today, but seldom in public. Every newborn child carries with it a set of mutations of which some might benefit our future existence. Maybe now you understand why it's not done in public; embryos form inside wombs.

We are not perfectly adapted, just good enough. And as the environment changes, we need to adapt again and again and again. Monkeys are just as good enough for their sphere in nature.

Scientist have indeed been watching and watching, and have seen evolution in many species that have several generations in a year.
For humans it takes about 20 years between generations, so it takes a few hundred years to see any noticable change.
