Atheism is flawed along side Evolution. You can't prove that there is no God. In order to do so you would need to go to every single part of the universe all at the same time. But in order to know that there is a God all you need to do is encounter him once. And as to Finite-Godism it is flawed. A God by definition is infinite.

You can't prove that the universe isn't ruled by mystical purple elves living under a garden shed in the Andromeda Galaxy. Do do you, you would need to go to every single part of the Andromeda Galaxy in which there might be a garden shed, all at the same time.
A God by definition is infinite.
I take it you are not familiar with Norse mythology.
If God is infinite by definition, you wouldn't have to go to every point in the universe at the same time to check whether or not he's there, since by definition, he's everywhere at once. So all you have to do is find one place he doesn't exist, and at least you can prove that he isn't "infinite".

You might want to wait until the drugs wear off.
Seriously, this bit of fundie deception is what really burns me. They take perfectly normal human psychological experiences and call them "encounters with God."
Same reasoning for God. So let people decide. And even if you believe in God, the Bible can´t be taken literarilly, if that´s what you mean. Or did you seriously met a man with beard and living in Heaven?
If I encountered god once, I would certainly believe in him...after accusing him of being an extraterrestrial or extradimensional being, or any of the other things that are more likely than him being "god."
Hm...encountering God. You know, that actually might make me reconsider your position. If I just've seen God...
No, sorry. My frequent LSD trips have yielded nothing in the realm of "God-encounters".
A God, by definition, is a mythical being who can zap people with lightning-y stuff. I'm ashamed of you, "amasian". For you see, I am also Asian. And I am disgusted at your ignorance.
Tsk tsk tsk.
We believe the FSM. All hail FSM!!
RAmen.
Ok, we can't prove that an invisible, untraceable, do-nothing god does not exist. Can we stop talking about irrelevant gods now?
Atheism is just a lack of belief in gods, not a dogma teaching that there are no gods.
You can't prove that your particular god exists, and that no other gods exist.
If I did encounter a god or goddess, then I would certainly start believing in him or her, but until I do, I'll continue being an atheist, as all evidence to date show that there is no evidence for the existence of any gods.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
