Hmm, I don't seem to have anyone who can tell me how women's rights have helped the family unit. I guess I won. Ha Ha.

\"Family unit?\" What the heck, is this from a parenting book for robots?

Anyway... since women are empowered and respected, their mental, emotional, and intellectual states are improved, and thus they are better able to maintain harmony in a \"family unit.\" That's just scratching the surface, but there's no point in trying to convince a Bush that he's wrong.

Of course, things were so much better when women were doormats and did as they were told, and if they didn't, why they'd be in for it. </sarcasm>
I hope you live out the rest of your miserable life without any women going anywhere near you. It's the least you deserve, you misogynistic asshole.

A. Women feel less marginalized. That makes women less discontent. That has to be good for their families.
B. That women can hold jobs, and higher paying jobs at that, brings in more income for their families. That has to be considered a benefit.
C. Assuredly, women's sufferage has brought a broader spectrum to politics, bring more attention to child abuse and child care issues. That seems like a benefit, also.
I could go on and on about this.

Guess, again. You have not won. You have failed to even understand the basics of the issue. Ha ha, dinkwad.

If you define \"family unit\" as \"containing submissive wife who does everything the man tells her\" than no, women's rights haven't helped. But only if you define family unit in that way. The rest of us will have our women's rights thanks.

Maybe this is just me, but isn't it a benefit when all members of the family unit feel happy and have a voice in matters?

Maybe women figured out \"the family unit\" does not have to represent the whole (or even any part) of our lives. Maybe that leaves little boys who can't do their own housework out in the cold. I guess you lost. Ha Ha.

\"Hmm, I don't seem to have anyone who can tell me how women's rights have helped the family unit. I guess I won. Ha Ha.\"

Speaks volumes about this guy's idea of what a \"family unit\" should be, huh?

Wait, let me go ask the county's child abuse and neglect attorneys, all of whom are female.

Or did you mean how women's rights have helped their own family units? Fine, I'll ask about their salaries then.

Because this \"family unit\" is more important than treating women like human beings.

Gotcha.

I love people like this...they type some asinine drivel onto the screen, and when no one can bother to dignify their "thought" with an answer, they take it as a surefire sign they stumped us all, and have bealt us heathens a mighty blow.

I thought conservatives thought all people were created equal by their God, even though the Bible doesn't say anything even close to that (though Quakers that actually have that as sort of a philosophy as part of their religion; Shrub isn't a Quaker).
