Basically, all creation says is that there is a creator...and evolution says creation happened by chance. However, to happen by chance makes no sense, as something cannot come from nothing. Just try proving that.

Basically all creation says nothing... and evolution says that life changes at the genetic level over generations with some characteristics weeded out and others passed on.
Neither the theory of evolution, or the vast moutains of evidence supporting it, suggest anything happened by chance.
Then it's impossible for your god to 'have always been'. Pick your rules already. You guys have all of your imaginations to work with, we have only facts. And you still can't convince me, even when you change the 'rules' to only apply to one side.
You have the whole world of fiction to deal with, and your supernatural world STILL can't compare to the evidence we have in reality. Pity.
Your stories don't even appeal to my suspension of disbelief, which is ironic when you think about it.
I spent a mind-numbing ten weeks of my life sitting through Philosophy 101 trying to determine how something came from nothing. We never did figure it out.
"Nihilo ex nihilo" is just as much an argument against God as it is against evolution, so good job on screwing your own argument in the process of debating the opposition. Gold star for Travis!
Unless there is a say, James Creation or Maurice Evolution, that debate is impossible. And why not by chance?, where does God comes from, if chance doesn´t exist according to you?
and evolution says creation happened by chance. In other words, you're assuming creation to prove creation.
"Basically, all creation says is that there is a creator..."
"ALL CREATION SAYS?" That's quite bit. It assumes that there is a creator who must have somehow been created him/herself.
"and evolution says creation happened by chance."
While the mutations involved in evolution are random, natural selection is not random.
Also, the ToE does not attempt to explain the origin of life, just the development of the variety of lifeforms.
"However, to happen by chance makes no sense, as something cannot come from nothing. Just try proving that."
If God created the universe, what created God? Where was God before there was a universe?
False. Creation is assumed. You assume something created all this. All avaliable data indicates that life, the universe, and everything is bound by a set of unspoken by closely followed cosmic laws that allow for the formation of atoms, organic compounds, and life, not by chance but instead at the given circumstances. At which point it is not a matter of how life can form, but when.
Don't need to, since science doesn't say there was nothing.
Only Christians claim there was nothing but God, you've had 2000 years nearly and haven't proved anything.
AND
Just because we can't prove anything to you (mostly because you refuse to listen due to a built in mistrust indoctrination, certainly nothing to do with sense or logic) doesn't mean your God is real by default.
"and evolution says creation happened by chance"
Besides you and a shitload of idiots that have not clue, who says that, exactly?
Never mind that evolution and abiogenesis have nothing at all to do with each other...
Confused?
