Quote# 2163

You may not intentionally lie. But you have been lied to by science all your life. Lied to so much that you believe it as true. And hence, you argue those lies as true. You may not set out to lie, but the end effect of arguing for a lie is the same.

Using computers to claim science is a lie is an interesting example of cognitive dissonance; Or just utter stupidity.

They're damn good lies, then, to be so much more logically consistent upon independent analysis, not to mention practically useful, than your biblical "truth".

Carling don't do projections...

But if they did, they'd look something like that.

Science = facts.

Science != lies.

Bible = lies.

Your preachers = liars.

Rom831 (& everyone on Ruptured Retards) = lied to.

'Truth' != Facts.

Religious 'truth' = lies.

Maths never lies. Neither does scientific facts.

If you are referring to evolution (and even if you're not, I think I can still say this), then those "lies" have produced incredible benefits for humanity. I am talking about dramatic advances in medicine, agriculture, aerodynamics and a variety of other fields and sub-fields. The benefits wrought by the application of evolutionary theory have saved countless human lives, lives that otherwise would not have had a prayer (pun fully intended).

'If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it'

-Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's Propaganda Minister

Hitler was a Christian:

Y'know, little Raptard, there's a good reason why your country had the atom bomb first, and not Nazi Germany (thus guess who ultimately won WWII?); why scientist Albert Einstein was recruited as part of the Manhattan Project - headed by scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer - that successfully developed the weapon that ensured you'd win the War in the Pacific part of WWII, nay ensured your ultimate position as the only superpower today:

Hitler didn't believe in what he called 'Jew Science'.

Albert Einstein. J. Robert Oppenheimer. Jews.

...oh, one more thing: Hitler was a right-winger too. I refer you to the above quote.

I love the smell of annihilated arguments in the morning. Smells like... victory.

So by all means stop using science in your daily like. You'll die much sooner and that will make me very happy.

using a computer to call science a lie is a little like calling for a ban of alcohol with a beer in each hand and six beers inside of you already.
