[On James Cameron's documentary claiming to have found caskets containing Jesus and his family.]

I've already advised the Discovery Channel that if they air this I will cancel my subscription....they should be lucky that I don't strap explosives around my waste.

While I remain skeptical of this discovery, I simply can't stop laughing at how some people have gotten their panties in a twist over it.

So, you strap on explosives every time there's something on TV you don't like? My entire town would be reduced to rubble by now if I did that.

\"they should be lucky i don't strap explosives around my waste.\"

Gross!

Seriously though, is this line of thought a bit different than you whining about how backwards islam is? Rhetorical question, the answer is no.

Jesus (allegedly) gets some pussy and fundies start talking about blowing things up? I seem to recall another prophet who was defamed, in cartoons, rather than with dubious archeological discoveries. Lots of his fundie followers screamed bloody muder, a few even went so far as to commit bloody murder. Good times.

Crap! Everyone beat me to it. Oh well, I couldn't make a witty comment involving a short, soft shower anyway.

I'm surprised you even had the Discovery Channel. Certainly doesn't seem to have done you any good.

Aren't these the same people who are condemning Muslims for this exact kind of behavior? Guess it's OK when Christians do it, eh?

And why get all bent out of shape over this now? They found that bloody tomb 27 years ago, it's not like it's new or anything. James Cameron just decided he could make a buttload of money off of it by stirring up as much controversy as possible.

Here's my advice, Christians...don't take the bait.

This should be good for the \"I'd rather be dead than find out the Bible has been wrong all these years\" award, although I suspect Cameron et. al. are exaggerating the validity of their claims a bit.

Sandman, I've sadly found in many churches that Christians take the bait just as automatically and as instinctively as fish bite the baited hook. (Perhaps that's why the fish symbol is all too appropriate.)

We're all lucky you don't strap explosives around your waste. Those shit bombs are very annoying. (Though probably no worse than the shit you type on Internet forums).

Good luck with that, bucko. That'll be a bit hard, considering cable and satellite providers have been successful in warding off anything remotely resembling \"a la carte\" programming. So, your only recourse will be to cancel whatever cable or satellite service you subscribe to. Then how will you watch NASCAR on the ESPN!?

Suicide trash!

But yes, of course Discovery Channel should air the documentary - if it's accurate. If it's a piece of misleading garbage, no need to waste time on it.

And yes, fundies, you need to get over that ridiculous narrow-mindedness. You can be wrong. Cut the silly faith and start thinking rationally.

While I agree that the Discovery Channel should lose a little respect for airing such a lame farse... This guy's kinda nuts.

As long as you don't set off those explosives such that they harm others, I support your right to blow your sorry ass to pieces.
