Seeing Jane Fonda Saturday was enough to make me wish the unthinkable: it will take another terror attack on American soil in order to render these left-leaning crazies irrelevant again. Remember how quiet they were after 9/11? No one dared take them seriously. It was the United States against the terrorist world, just like it should be.

In case you hadn't noticed, Mike, the U.S. has been busy CREATING more terrorists than it's destroying ever since we invaded Iraq. That's why instead of "the U.S. against the terrorist world," it's quickly becoming "the U.S. against the world" -- which, in case you don't already know this, is NOT a good situation.

"The terrorist world"
Which world is that, Mikey?
"No one dared" - indeed. Paranoia and fear are what aid the rise of dictatorships, and keep them afloat. Good American prinicple, that.
Funny how if there was another terrorist attack on America, it'd never occur to this dimbulb that Bush failed to protect us.
On the other hand, his honesty is refreshing. One seldom gets to hear the entire 21st-century Republican mindset stated so bluntly. Politics is everything, no amount of sacrificing lives is too much if it benefits the Republican party.
Jane Fonda is irrelevant. Perhaps once upon a time she had modicum of celebrity, but that doesn't mean she had a brain or that her opinion was worth a rat's ass, i.e., Tom Cruise.

Don't you mean how quiet "it" was. They could not have been quiet at the time nobody was taking them seriously as that suggests that they were indeed quiet vocal, but the media wasn't reporting on it. You can't have it both ways - Make up your mind.
I think you have misinterpreted the situation. They are making noise now because they suspect, and they are partially right, that another 9/11 can be avoided if USA changes its policy in the Middle East, which is starting to happen.
Yes, because the terrorists are just as organized and well-funded as other past enemies of the 'merkun way of life that threatened our very existence. See: Panama; Cuba; Grenada; Somalia; the former Yugoslavia. Each of these was made out to be the next ultra-evil threat to our freedom on par with the Third Reich. By any measure of evil OR threat, the assholes running those shows couldn't hold Hitler's jock.
Cut the Chicken-Little bullshit and look at both causes AND solutions.
Right on, Mike! We need to defend our American freedoms, but that doesn't mean that we should have any American freedoms left to defend. Never mind what that old coot Ben Franklin said about liberty and security; if he were still around, we'd just ship him off to Gitmo.
It was the United States against the terrorist world, just like it should be.
Yeah, fuck the rest of the world! God only cares about America anyway! All those commies in Yurp are going to hell! USA! USA!

Maybe because the minute they opened their mouths, they were immediately accused of being "traitors" and "soft on terrorists?" Of course, no one took them seriously; practically everyone was gung-ho for revenge and eager to prove how "patriotic" they were by bombing villages in Afghanistan and invading Iraq.
Of course, ironically, for you to suggest that the U.S. should experience another terrorist attack is not only stupid and unpatriotic, it's traitorous. Remind me again why the FBI hasn't ransacked your house yet?
Confused?
