I guess that means Jesus Himself plagiarized from Buddha. Obviously, nobody could ever possibly come up with peace, love, forgiveness, or equality on their own.

Yep, Jesus said many admirable things. Fundies have overlooked most of them.

Technically it's true that Marx did copy many Christian concepts (communism is largely based on them) but it's surprising that anyone would admit to it, given the bad reputation Marx has these days.

I admire the sayings of Twain, Carlin, and Franklin much more, but OK, some of what is attributed to Jerusalem Slim is allright. For the record I also admire the notes Mozart left behind.
And only the people from Jefferson to Marx are JC plagiarists? What about Adams to Jedson and Massenet to Zimbalist?

Marx was against the oppression of the common people by thier egocentric leadership, who were aided and abetted by a corrupt church.
A bit like Bush and Fundies with your mindset.

Just because many agree that peace and love is a great idea, doesn't mean they think that Jesus was the offspring of a greater power.
There's a huge difference...

And incidentally, those are the parts of His teachings that you insist on ignoring.

We admire the ones that are ACTUALLY about peace and love, Radorth.
