For example, in physics, one of the first things you learn is that energy never, ever ceases to exist. Energy can only be transformed. Well...in a way, this supports the theory that when human beings die, they cannot cease to exist. Where does the energy go?
The body is physically failing, but the soul survives until the last second of life (and is sometimes brought back after a few minutes through modern medicine). Where does the energy of your thoughts go? It cannot just disappear in a snap. That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard.
