Hell does exist, and believe it or not, the hellish planets were designed by God (yes it's true) as divine correctional facilities for all of the errant souls who refuse to change the fact of their sin-infested existences and live a more saintly life.

Ok,.. God designed the hellish planets,.. I can accept that. I can even stretch to the prediction being valid as far as I am not a fortune teller and you are. But, you are (likely) a self confessed sinner, and not a saint as far as I know. You clearly believe your own words,.. so why aren't you completely freaked out by the implications? Can't you see that some of the people who you are condemming are better behaved than you, and maybe deserve hell a little less.
"Hell does exist, and believe it or not,"
There is no evidence to support that assertion.
"the hellish planets were designed by God (yes it's true) as divine correctional facilities for all of the errant souls who refuse to change the fact of their sin-infested existences and live a more saintly life."
The existence of planets with conditions unsuitable for human life does not show that such planets are hell.
Prove that God exists.
Prove that God designed something, anything.
Hell, as described in the Bible, is not a correctional facility. It is eternal torment. No correction is required as those bannished to hell are not to be released.
Prove that souls exists and that humans have souls.
Unless you prove that God exists and gives a big rat's ass about what we do, sin does not exist.
I hate to tell you, but a fake-fundie already made the claim that hell is on Venus. Do a Google seach in alt.politics.homosexuality for Venus and Lurlean. You'll get a long list of comments.
BTW, Lurlean and Thurgood Tucker are not real people. They are characters created to mock fundie bigots.
Y'know, I could get on board with some of the ideas behind Hell if it weren't for that pesky "forever" clause that most fundies like to insert. I mean, there are some people who deserve to be locked up for a very, very long time. There are some people who need to realize that the attitudes they hold and the things that they've done are Really Not Cool, and if we could stick them in a place that would teach them some empathy for the suffering, I would be cool with that. But the eternity clause just sucks all the sense out of any kind of punishment.

CLUTCH/Escape From The Prison Planet
Then against my better judgement I went walking out that door
I smiled at one person then I nodded to three more
One man asked me for a dollar, I asked him, "What's it for?"
He said, "I have seen them" I said, "OK, it's yours"
And as featured on the MTV
The local highschool lets out and the town becomes anarchy
Parties are crashed, skid marks are measured
The story's in the paper, you may read it at your leisure
Get out! Eject! Escape from the prison planet!
Get out! Eject! Escape from the prison planet!
And to the tune of a billion dollars I supplied to the D.O.E.
Some tasty little nuggets of alien technology
And as one might expect I've been harassed for years
The 'Men in Black' have been bending my ear
As a matter of fact they were just here today but I escaped them through a secret passageway
Once I lived there for one thousand days
Get out! Eject! Escape from the prison planet!
Get out! Eject! Escape from the prison planet!
I have plans for the future, guess they're futuristic plans
Move out West and buy some desert lands
Or maybe up North, just past Alaska
You know nothing of this if they ask you
Red rover, red rover, Bob Lazar's coming over
So honey, clear the airstrip and light up that stove
By Jove, I think it's started, oh yeah
Escape from the prison planet
Billion people harvest on Mars
Rebuild the remnants of the obelisk one mile from the pyramid
Escape from the planet of the apes
Go forth ad infinitum
Return the relics to the Elephant and Atlantis rises
Get out! Eject! Escape from the prison planet!
Ejector seat ignite, oh yeah
I like how he adds "yes it's true" as though that's really going to convince us.
Person 1: Hellish planets designed by God? That's nuts.
Person 2: But he said it was true.
Person 1: Oh, well, in that case, I have to believe him.
Oh dear, get with the times, the latest conspicary theory / cheap crappy apologetics is "Intelligent" Designer, not "Infernal" Designer.
What's this, the argument from Irreduceable Cosmology - planets can't be broken down into smaller parts?
WORSHIP ME OR I CAST THEE OUT!!!
Sounds like a nice, fun, reasonable guy, where do I sign up?
Seriously though, why would you want to worship a god that promises an eternity of pain unless you give up thinking for yourself and follow blindly?
"God loves those who fear him", guess it's easier for him that way.
Proof or evidence of this hell, please, and exactly how you found out "it's true", about those hellish planets.
"Change the fact of their[...]existence". Can you change a fact? Why not change the behaviour, rather than the fact?
'youcantkillgod2007'? Your 'God may have been at the centre of human thinking, but since the Renaissance, resulting scientific discoveries have been pushing God further and further from that centre. Right now, he's hanging by his last fingernail on the edge of that platform. One day, which may come very soon, he'll be plunged into the Abyss of Human Irrelevance, to join all the other fictional deities of mythological yore - after all, who worships Amun-Ra or Zeus anymore? Thus God WILL Be killed. We made him, we can break him.
The Christian Church may have had absolute power centuries ago, but the rot set in with said Renaissance. And now it's clinging on to it's last vestiges of power, with you fundie sheeple bleating along in lockstep, bleating the same old dogmatic platitudes. But we're not afraid anymore. And that's what scares you. No longer having power . The fact we refuse to be controlled by you & your ilk is the worst possible thing for you.
Welcome to YOUR Hell.
I'm starting to see why these dinks are Pro-Death Penalty. Their view on what punishment is, and what it's supposed to do is dangerously narrow. Hurt those who hurt me. No more, no less. So if they are not suffering every moment they are incarcerated, they are not being "punished." Never mind these people are...well...people, or that the objective is that they're to come out a better person (ideally.) They must suffer to appease the public. Which ties to their belief in hell. There's no chance to learn, no hope for "rehabilitation." You are to suffer to appease the Fundie Morality. That's it, that's all.
“Hell does exist,”
Infinite torture for finite crimes. Yeah, that’s logical.
“and believe it or not,”
I’ll go wiht ‘not,’ i suspect.
“the hellish planets were designed by God (yes it's true)”
Oh, well, if it’s TRUE, you say, then i shuold change my mind, huh?
Not.
“as divine correctional facilities for all of the errant souls who refuse to change the fact of their sin-infested existences and live a more saintly life.”
Correctional facilities? Those are places that try to improve the behavior of the inmates for when they’re released back into society.
Hell has no such offer. It’s eternal torture.
Not ‘torture until you regret it’ or ‘torture until you pinky-swear not to do it again.’
Even ‘prison’ would be a euphemism for that infinite torture chamber.
And why would this be on a planet?
My body, with the nerve endings and intestines and skin is rotting on Earth. ONly my alleged soul persists. God’s going to go to the effort of making planets, staffing them with demons, collecting our souls, and making eternal bodies just for petty revenge that has no purpose, no end goal, no improved product?
For a fraction of that effort, he could have given someone miracle powers and convinced us He and Hell are real and we’d have acted accordingly.
This is nonsensical.
Confused?
