Evolution has been around for 150 years. And no, an arguement that was presented out of ignorance would not be valid today because we found so much evidence against it.

\"The \"theory\" of evolution has been around for thousands of years.\"
Nope, not even close. Evolution has been recognized for only a couple hundred years or so, and the actual Theory of Evolution for only a little over 150 years.
\"Still after all this time, it changes from week to week. It is more the soup of the day or the flavor of the week.\"
There are amendments to the theory, little tweaks to it, but they have never been substantial; I'd say it's the same stew, but occasionally a little seasoning gets added. (Man, I'm getting hungry.)
\"Creation is based on truth...\"
No, it is based on ancient superstitions, just like every other mythology.
\"...and is then consistant.\"
Have you ever even READ the Bible? Check out Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 sometime.
\"An arguement presented 2000 years ago would be just as valid today.\"
If it were valid in the first place, it might be; but since this one wasn't, it is completely blown out of the water by modern knowledge that shows it to be totally wrong. This is called \"learning\"; you might want to try it someday.

soo... evolution has been around for thousands of years... an argument presented 2000 years ago would be just as valid today... so evolution is as valid today as it has been 2000+ years ago?
