Quote# 138038

You stated, “And yes, it is narrow mindedness, fundamentalism is inherently narrow minded.”

Jesus said the following, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. ”
(Matt. 7:14)

I’m glad to be narrow-minded and SAVED.

* straight

I can understand getting reign wrong, since it's not a common English word, but "straight"?

Takes a lot of gumption to admit you are proud of being close minded.

@pyro

Well, it does say "strait" in the Bible. (KJV at least)

I just looked that up myself, it's the archaic definition of strait (as in straitjacket or straitlaced), meaning narrow or strict. Dictionary.com even uses "strait is the gate" as their sample sentence.

Well, that was something of mild interest I learned today.

strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

S.P read that as strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and make your mind as narrow as that way?
