Yes.
Similar to the dishonesty of trying to normalise taking quantities of cross-sex hormones for transition purposes by calling it HRT, 'hormone REPLACEMENT therapy'. You don't get to call it 'hormone replacement'. It's only 'replacement' in women, whose bodies naturally produced oestrogen through their adult lives, and are experiencing a diminishing because of menopause.

Yes, I hate their appropriation of that term, too. They're not "replacing" anything, and they're shitting on everyone who actually needs hormone replacement therapy by equating actual physical medical conditions to genderfeels

Biology fail. Bet you angry TERFs would be pissed to find out your bodies produce that evil testosterone stuff...
Fact is, though, the human body produces both estrogen and testosterone, regardless of sex. The amounts produced actually determine a great many things about later biological development...
There are no "genderfeels", whatever those may be, it is a medical condition and you not feeling comfortable with it`s existence does nothing. Also it is a replacement therapy, I for one needed the right hormones to kick start my woman puberty in my twenties and prolonged therapy actually got my womb working. So suck it up, bitch, we will "appropriate" you the fuck out of existence if that is your stance and the sooner one like you dissapear fromt he public life, the better.
@DarkPhoenix
That's not even half of it really. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, most of this information will come from what I remember from a series of comments from a transgirl who was discussing it. Can't say I remember it right, but here it goes.
You see, the entire reason why HRT even works, is because human DNA is hardcoded to contain both male and female expression. The reason for that is, in the earliest stages of pregnancy, human embryos are basically genderless. Despite what is commonly believed, we don't start off all female, we start off with no gender at all, and it is only in relatively later stages of pregnancy that embryos divide into one or other. Since there is pretty much no way to tell which way an embryo is going to go, nature has solved it by stuffing all humans with genes necessary for both gender expressions, so as to have all bases covered, so to speak. HRT works due to the fact that whatever sex hormone is dominant in the body determines which gender expression genes are activated in cells across the body. Flood the body with estrogen, and female expression activates. Flood the body with testosterone, and male expression activates.
Would be interesting to watch TERFs react to those facts. They'd probably go crazy from being told they have "male genes".
@HS : Yeah, most of the scientific stuff I've read on how human embryo development and HRT work say the same thing; that it's actually the hormone level during development that determines primary sexual characteristics at birth, and later development is determined by the hormone balance in the body at that time. That's also why you periodically get XY chromosome women and XX chromosome men...
Confused?
