Society is out to erase any mention of God. There is a world wide conspiracy to systematically eliminate all forms of mentioning, praying, worshping , teaching anything in regards to Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. The effects are already being felt in the EU, Spain has eliminated several churches and has a mandate to arrest pastors if they as much as attempt worship--citing that this is a form of brainwashing and is against the "Natural" flow.

More 'persecution' fapfiction eh, Ruptured Retards? If that's what helps you get through one more day of the whooshfest not happening, then far be it from me to piss on your chips by saying you're just a paranoid tinfoil hat-wearing fundy, and that one more day the (C)Rapture hasn't happened is one more day we Atheists are proved right.
Not gonna happen, any time soon. When you do an exclamation or want to stress anything, it's hard to NOT say Good God, or My God, even though I'm not particularly religious, it's just a habit.
Eliminating churches? Yeah right! We went to a nearby city today and drove past at least five churches on 30 km, and we ate lunch in the old Monastery Restaurant, which is being restored , not torn down. There were banners everywhere about "Pilgrim Summer", parking spaces around the Monastery area were all full. Yeah sure, it is a tourist attraction, but everyone seem solemn and in aw of the old buildings.
This is of course bullshit but I am tempted to joke my admiration for Spain would increase if it were true. It would not of course - I believe in free speech and freedom of as well as from religion. If this myth has any basis in reality at all, it probably was inspired by some entirely appropriate measure by the spanish authorities against the intrusion of faithheads into the lives of others.

Funny. Spain being a mainly Catholic country, but has many Anglican churches there. They even welcome the Church of $cientology! (although the latter is banned in Germany. And it's anathema in Russia).
Here in the UK, at least where I live, I know of at least half-a-dozen churches that haven't been 'eliminated'. They're mostly been left derelict, closed due to lack of interest (with estate agents/property developers 'For Sale' signs outside) or turned into furniture warehouses, DIY shops or nightclubs (even one called 'Heaven & Hell'. Oh, the irony!).
Either you know fuck all about what's happening (or not) here in the EU, or you're lying for Jebus, TonkaTruck. So stop talking complete bollocks, stop watching Fux News, and start watching/reading CNN/BBC News/Reuters.
There's a Methodist church round the corner from where I live. There's a Unitarian Universalist church between St. Stephen's shopping mall & the KCOM Stadium here in Hull.
Strange that they're still going, eh?
Must be something to do with the fact that the UK has a state religion: the Church of England.
It's central place of worship, Westminster Abbey, is a couple of minutes' walk away from Parliament in London.
Why is the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, still doing his job? Why is Queen Elizabeth II still head of the C-of-E...?!
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
