I'd rather die like an animal than be hooked up to fifteen machines, keeping my body "alive" just so my family can fight over it.

I am an animal. So are you - get used to it.
As for God's mercy - there's a contradiction in terms if there ever was one.

If your God is merciful, explain Hell.

So, God is merciful? He never sends people to Hell unless they really, really, really deserves it? Right?
I basically think that death is it. It's like going to sleep or becoming unconscious; there is nothing, ever. Just as it were before we were born.
And yes, I have been unconscious, at least six times. There were nothing whatsoever for about fifteen to twenty minutes. That's when I ceased to be scared of death.

I don't believe in a merciful god because on has yet to show itself, meaning that none can possibly exist. Your god certainly isn't merciful, he likes war and sending people to eternal torment.

I can't argue with your first three points. Or even the fourth, come to think of it - seeing as all of us are just animals.
