A closed business pays no taxes, so what would be the point of taxing and closing churches? Now give us one reason, other than tradition, why churches should be exempt from taxes in the first place. Why should those of us who don't agree with your beliefs be required to pay for the infrastructure necessary to get your congregation to services? What do churches do that tax-paying organizations don't?
Churches that violate the laws about mixing politics should be taxed. Render unto Caesar, bitches.
