Quote# 12600

No hate = no passion.

And perhaps that's the problem, as unintentional as it was in the article. Call it my intuition. When I hear that a certain demographic doesn't hate, I am reminded of a bad zombie movie. Something inhuman. The Jews didn't hate(or respond) quickly enough, nor did the nations that they found themselves in. Look what it got them. Hatred can save you. Hatred is the nerve ending that causes you to react to a stimulus.

The dark side I sense in this one.

Some people have more cerebral motivations. What's the word I'm looking for, oh yeh - BRAINS!

Well, at least he's not claiming to be a \"compassionate\" conservative.

Of course, hatred does more than just spur one into action, it often spurs one into incorrect action, misplacing blame and persecuting innocent persons. Maybe a better choice would be THINKING. Can you do that, Wyatt?

Hatred is the nerve ending that causes you to react to a stimulus.

Like how your leg just randomly kicks when your knee gets whacked? How about Kneejerks for Jesus?

I vote for \"Vader's Apprentice\" award here. A brand new award!

Well then. For the good of humanity, let us hate Fundies with everything we got. Otherwise, we'd be inhuman.

Hatred is the emotion that causes you to act irrationally, and can darken a person overall, to the point of mistreating freinds and family members.

Didn't someone once say that the first step towards defeating your enemy is to get them sufficiently angry that their judgement is clouded? And you can't usually have hatred without anger following behind at some point...

Reminds me of a computer game I once played, Mission Critical, in which at one point the human player contacts an artificial intelligence that has long since surpassed humanity, and subsequently ended up in a war against humans who were terrified that being out-evolved would lead to their eventual destruction (the AIs had almost won, but humanity took an irreversible step that would eventually destroy both sides, rather than surrender). When the player asks, \"After all my race has done to you, you still don't hate me for what I am?\", the AIs simply reply \"We don't hate.\"

Hmmm, well what do you think about that....

I think Jesus would have thought or rather He showed the example of
More love= More passion since that is the way He lived His life.

What a sick little bastard this Wyatt is.....

I like the \"Vader's Apprentice\" award idea... but that may be too tame.

How about \"The Emperor’s New Bitch\" award?

look what hate did to Vader, he was the far superior force user to Kenobi, and yet Kenobi managed to slice of his legs and his remaining natural arm. Why? cause his hatred made him irrational.

You should add a smiley to that or else someone might suspect that you're using an Argumentum ad Star Wars as an actual counter-point to Wyatts silly post.

I believe Argumentum ad Bella Sidaris (star wars) is very valid logic :)

So he is actually saying that Christianity is, and should be, a religion of hate?

Well, at least that would nullify the claims of false advertising.

I like \"Vader's Apprentice.\"

Brain_In_A_Jar: anger doesn't follow hate. Hate follows anger, which follows fear. Thus says the wisdom of Master Yoda.

I'm going to start looking for ways to use the phrase \"Argumentum ad Bella Sidaris\" now.

Bella Sidaris? Is that a Latin translation of Star Wars? If that's so, I also must find ways to use it...

don't start using it yet, it's been a while since latin class, but i think my translation might be wrong \"Bella Sideris\" is better translated as \"wars of the star\". If the \"Star\" in \"Star wars\" is an adjective, then the appropriate transalation is \"bella siderea\" but that might mean \"Starry wars\". subtlties are lost in . sorry for the mistake translation

Perhaps it's Bellum Sidaris?

bellum is singular neutral, to get the plural, you need \"bella\"
