The GRBs including this "mysterious cosmic explosion" arises from chance accumulated large-scale matter-antimatter annihilation reactions. But "Big Bang" cosmology that does not have any provision for the occurrence of antimatter in the universe will never explain these phenomena, except ascribing these to the act of some mysterious cosmic monsters like "black holes", "dark matter" etc.
