Humans don't need to consume animals to live. So their use in entertainment, clothing, and palette is irrational and monsterous... Most animals in nature are herbivores. so what does that make us?

" Most animals in nature are herbivores."
Because of the food chain pyramid, dumdum.
"so what does that make us?"
It makes you ignorant of what you are talking about.
>Humans don't need to consume animals to live.
No, but it is incredibly difficult to get proper nutrition without any animal products at all.
>So their use in entertainment,

I gotta admit, these little balls of fur are quite entertaining, and they're only about three weeks old. I'm sure in the coming weeks they are going to provide more entertainment than I could ever have wanted. Their mother Malibu is a sweetie too. She's a stray I've been feeding for a while now. Then she came up pregnant. My neighbor's/tenet's girlfriend took them into their side of the house, and was caring for them. The problem is she's severely bipolar, had a complete meltdown and left at which time Malibu and the kittens got moved to the back porch. There are a number of tom cats out there, as well as my chicken who is pretty aggressive towards all the cats that hang around, and sometimes neighbors' dogs get in the yard too. So I brought them in and made a place for them in my spare bedroom. I do feel entertained watching them play, and explore, but I'm also making sure that they are safe and have a fighting chance until I can [hopefully] find homes for them. I'm kind of attached to Malibu now. I tried to avoid that because I already have three cats living with me, and two of them I never intended on bringing in and adopting either. Like them, she's grown on me, and my original cat is not going to be happy having another cat in here, especially another female one.
I am sorry for being a complete monster and all though. I wasn't trying to be, I just couldn't stand the thought of leaving them outside to whatever cruel fate the world could throw at them, but how dare I find a little happiness in their presence on top of that too. Guess I should have consulted with a self-righteous vegan dipshit to tell me what to do.
These people are the complete opposite of the Fundies who claim humans aren't animals and are therefore superior. They think we are the WORST animals, and therefore inferior to other animals to a point where we must give up our natural diet (that includes meat)and our domesticated pets, as penance. Next, they'll want us to roll in ashes (or dung) to prove our shame.
Human and non-human animals are equal in the eyes of Nature, meaning it doesn't care about any of us, because it's amoral. We can eat meat, have our pets, and still not be oppressive dicks to non-humans.
Is this somehow ironic that just yesterday I had the new burger of my life? Dearest hubby found this little food truck operated place. It was the quarterpounder straight from my dreams. The patty was a class unto itself, coupled with fresh rukola, gorgonzola cheese and non-sweetened cranberry sauce of their own design, all settled on a delicious full grain bun... What was he talking about again?

Oh, I dunno...:
(*Raises divider in cage: the only thing separating Bobby-boy here from an extremely hungry puma that has tasted human blood *)
...you tell me. Just after Kitty here has had din-dins. >:3
Now if you'll excuse me, a few tasty Bacon Sarnies awaits yours truly. Have fun trying to persuade this 'ere cougar to change it's mind and become a herbivore. You said that most animals in nature are herbivores, I didn't.
Perhaps if you're successful, you can get me to switch to Quorn bacon substitute. The reason Sir Mo Farah appears in adverts for their vegetarian 'meat', is because their products are Halal .
Good luck in having ol' Pumy here convert to Islam, seeing as Human is Haram ...!
Bacon sarnies? Ooh I must have one. Also that sandwich I once heard tell of that is a roll with chips, cheese and some bacon. I believe it's Belgian.
Captain Peacock may disdain a bacon butty but you won't see me complaining.

Herbivores by proxy?
Before people figured how to manufacture B12 from bacterial byproducts, there were very, very few societies which were vegan. And even then, they technically weren't vegan if you consider it an absolute avoidance of all animal-related products. They ate plants infested with tiny bugs or bug eggs (admittedly out of ignorance) and dung. Even then, they were still prone to health problems due to inadequate B12.
Ovo-lacto Vegetarianism existed, but wasn't exactly common globally, and didn't exist before agriculture became widespread. There were also a few cultures which considered bugs to be morally equivalent to plants, or close enough. There were also a few christian or jewish sects which considered fish to be morally equivalent to plants.
True veganism didn't exist prior to the 1970s (I think, not sure) and the vast majority of humanity throughout history and prehistory wasn't vegetarian or even pseudo-vegetarian. I'd say that, regardless of what moral value you ascribe to eating animals or animal products, the idea that humans are "naturally" herbivorous is insane.
Let me ask a very simple question. As you know world hunger is a bit of a problem. Omnivorous as humans are between crops and game humans have a hard time feeding themselves and even where arable land and water for irrigation are available - which is not the case everywhere in the world and something people have gone to war over in the past - overfarming can render soil unable to sustain growth for great lengths of time.
With that in mind the question is this: If all of humanity relied solely on crops, which already cannot feed us all with meat included in the diet, how long do you think we'd last in direct competition with those herbivores you just pointed out especially when their numbers would expand massively without us eating them?
Not to put too fine a point on it, but some of the animals you think of as herbivores will end up eating you if they have the opportunity. Deer, cows, adorable little bunny rabbits, all will strip a carcass to the bone. So you lose in your appeal to nature as well as logic. And humans aren't the only ones that play with their food, either.
That makes us omnivores.
As humans evolved eating animals, we need the nutrients that can be easily gotten from meat, to live. If you don't want to or can't eat meat, you have to make sure you get these nutrients from other sources. Otherwise you will be sick.
Without animal clothing, we would still all be stuck in Africa. You simply can't survive in Europe (for example) without warm, isolating clothes. The hunter-gatherers couldn't stop by at the store to buy a Gore-Tex jacket, ya know...
Most animals in nature, aren't they insects? Are they really mostly herbivores? How many sea-living animals are herbivores? Me thinks thou only looked at domesticated animals...
Some people do, actually, need animal proteins to survive. Some have the (financial & physiological) luxury of being able to go vegan - albeit with a bunch of dietary supplements. Also, we're omnivores. Deal with it.
Confused?
