Circular logic abounds in origins science. Even your rock formation hypotheses are based on that. You don't know what the atmosphere was like, so you tell yourself it must have been favourable for the autogenesis of proteins, which requires this that and that and then you say, well, could proteins have formed in that environment, let's test it. Your dating methods, likewise, are based on circular logic. Your interpretation of the evidence suits your worldview, just as my interpretation suits my worldview. What freaks me out is that you guys call yours science. The made up atmosphere required for Miller Urey cannot sustain life, as I am sure we both know. And, on top of that, spark discharge experiments, like Miller Urey cannot produce the most basic essential requirement for RNA and DNA - cytosine - anyway. And finally, even if you found a way of demonstrating the autogenesis of gazillions of proteins, you still have to get them to survive their environment and click precisely into place together, and then be ready for a really rapid atmosphere change at just the right time so it all can start to "live" in unison. But the biggest problem you have by faris that you forget - life is not a matter of chemicals, it is a matter of code. Language. The language of DNA. Information that has to be read and acted upon. Code and language can only come from a measure of intelligence, no matter how you look at it. Yes Axelbeingcivil, you are stuck with circular logic. You are also stuck with such an immense timing issue. On top of it, you are already mixed up in a myriad of chicken and egg scenarios. I am glad I am not you who have to settle for ever more complex hypotheses to make you feel better about this thing called evolution. Thank you for the very civil way in which we could talk. Some others of your bunch are not as well-mannered and I commend you for it, while apologising for my frequent bluntness - it stems from previous experiences debating with atheists. I should be more civil, although I am afraid it is usually lost on your fellows. Make that test tube with the vacuum work, bud, and show it to me. Remember, from nothing, without interference! Best wishes and good night.
