Donald Trump suggested Tuesday that gun-rights proponents might take action to defend the Second Amendment from a liberal Supreme Court if Hillary Clinton were elected president – and was immediately accused of inciting an assassination attempt against her.
'Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment,' Trump said, repeating a frequent claim he makes on the campaign trail.
'And by the way, if – if she gets to pick her judges, [there's] nothing you can do, folks.'
Then without explanation he added: 'Although, the Second Amendment people – maybe there is. I don't know. But I tell you what: That would be a horrible day if – if Hillary gets to put her judges in.'

You guys are actually behind. Besides insisting that he was referring to using votes to stop Hilary - even though in this context it makes no sense whatsoever - he's also called Obama and Hilary Clinton the co-founders of ISIS, and stated that getting people to vote isn't that important to him. It's like the guy's TRYING to lose...

Indeed. The frightening part isn't what Trump says. It's the fact that so many people are listening and supporting him.
First of all, Hillary has never said that she wants to repeal the 2nd Amendment, but I expect this lie to now become a common claim of conservatives.
Secondly, you know what you said, stop trying to spin it as "I meant they can vote against her." You made the comment in the context of if she was already elected and nominated a liberal judge to the SCOTUS.
The thing that irritates me is that if Hillary had said this about Trump, Republicans would be falling all over themselves in denouncing her and calling for her to be arrested. Yet the silence is deafening from the Republican crowd.
Does that stuttering fool not practice his speeches, or, on the contrary, is the disorganised speech deliberate to invoke "blunt honesty!" in the pseudominds of his brainless minions?
When has Hillary ever advocated abolishing the Second Amendment? She wants to keep guns out of the hands of felons and people on the terrorist watch list, and she wants to restrict access to military assault weapons. Second Amendment advocates always ignore the "well-regulated militia" part of the amendment which gives the government the right to regulate.

It is at this point I would like to announce my intent to run for prime minister of Australia in the next election.
My platform is fairly simple. Australia has Deserts. We will build solar farms in the deserts. With this cheap, renewable power we will use to purify sea water. This purified sea water will be used to irrigate the deserts, expanding the farming industry and bolstering the economy.
I also plan to do relatively little work myself. After all, I know my own limitations. As such, I intend to find the best and brightest in their chosen fields to head the government in those fields. Practical experience will be considered along with higher education.
My advertisements will be simple and to the point, openly discussing plans to deal with the problems facing the country and open panel discussions by experts in the relevant fields discussing the feasibility of various plans, being open about their price relative to the last budget, and having polls on which options the people think are most suitable. At no point do I intend to bring up my opposition, since name calling is a fundamentally pointless way to prove your own worthiness to manage a country's affairs.

Every since Obama has taken office, and after every mass shooting, the ideas been floated that Rapid fire and large clips should be restricted, even banned.
Right wingers never argue the actual topic: ALL GUNS WILL BE BANNED AND EXISTING ONES ROUNDED UP! ONLY CRIMINALS WILL HAVE GUNS!
They do this every time it comes up.
It's how they argue abortion, Evolution, Climate change, Immigration and taxation. By going as far out into 'never gonna happen' scenarios and pretending that's the issue.
I heard the BBC decided to stop the flow of 'both siderism' and asked other British outlets to adopt the same policy when they realized they were giving voice to unaccredited agenda driven fear mongers, the other side of issues like Evolution or climate change had no evidence for their claims or worse were provably deliberately lying.
