"My evidence that the Founders intended to separate religion and government in the Constitution is overwhelming"

Oh? Where is it?

"The ultimate piece of evidence is the Constitution itself, which is a resolutely secular document - nowhere does it appeal to Christianity, Jesus Christ, the Bible, or even God for that matter."

It also doesn't contain the phrase, "Separation of church and state." Not in whole or in part, not implied or explicit. If your argument is correct, then surely it would be in there. But it isn't. Because you are full of crap.

I knew exactly what your thoughts were when you wrote:

"The idea that Madison's and Jefferson's wall between religion and government works in one direction only – i.e., it serves to protect religion from government, but not government from religion – simply has no basis in history, law, or even common sense."

In other words, "If we are to have true freedom of religion, we must have freedom from religion." That's Orwellian doublespeak and complete Barbra Streisand. Nobody is forcing you to go to church, read the Bible or pray. Period. But people have the right to do these things, the latter two wherever and whenever they bloody well please, which is what the 1st Amendment says.

You have a problem with that? I have good news for you! Several airlines are offering non-stop flights to Cuba! Pack your bags of anti-Christian bigotry, and get out.

I am done with you.
